IIMC Entrance Exam Syllabus 2025: The exam body, Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) prescribes the IIMC entrance exam syllabus 2025 under the supervision of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates willing to apply for the IIMC Entrance Exam should thoroughly go through the syllabus of the national-level entrance exam. Aspirants should prepare the entire course-wise topics and the subjects which can be asked in the test. Along with the syllabus, candidates must also refer to the IIMC Exam Pattern 2025 to know the sections, marking scheme, and the time duration of the exam. IIMC Entrance Exam Syllabus
The online computer-based entrance test will be of 100 marks and the MCQs will broadly cover the following topics/subjects:

Start reading any National newspaper
Keep a tab on events of national and international importance
Try to discuss current affairs with your friends and try to understand their perspectives on different topics.
Start writing. I can't emphasize this enough. This is very important. Try to write at least 2 articles for now and increase it to 4–5 per day. You will feel the change, believe me.
Talk to yourself. Yeah, talk to yourself all the time. I used to practice for my interview every day. I used to ask questions all the time.
These things if followed seriously will help you guys a lot, believe me.

The CUET-PG 'Mass Communication and Journalism' paper (paper code - COQP17) is meant for all mass comm entrance (of the participating institutes) including IIMC entrance.
Q: What is exam pattern for IIMC Entrance Exam?
For the candidates appearing for CUET PG, the exam pattern is such that the number of questions will be 100 and they will be divided into two parts: Part A: Consisting of Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Mathematical/Quantitative Ability and Analytical Skills comprising of 25 MCQs and Part B: Domain Knowledge comprising of 75 MCQs. For those appearing for Regional Language PG Diploma Journalism courses, the question paper will be descriptive and objective in nature. There will be Long, Short and Multiple-Choice question (MCQ) type questions.
