GMCET 2025 Application Form - The Global Media Education Council (GMEC) has opened registrations for GMCET 2025. The last date to register for the exam is January 20, 2025. Those who wish to apply for the exam can fill the GMCET Application Form 2025 on the official website - gmcet.org. No, the application form for GMCET exam cannot be filled offline. It can only be done in online mode. The complete process of the GMCET exam is in online starting from the registraitons, to the application filling process and the exam fee payment. GMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To fill out the application form for GMCET 2025 candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria. As per the GMCET eligibility criteria candidates must have a minimum education qualification of Higher Secondary (10+2) or any equivalent education with a minimum aggregate of 50% for the General Category & 45% for SC/ST/OBC OR candidates should be appearing for Higher Secondary (10+2) or any equivalent education. Candidates with a three or four-year diploma, from a recognized university approved by AICTE with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply.

No, the GMCET exam is not conducted for postgraduate courses, it is only conducted for undergraduate media courses. Candidates planning to apply for the exam must go through the detailed instructions regarding the eligibility criteria before applying.
GMCET 2025 Admission Process
As per the admission process of GMCET, candidates need to first fill in the application form in online mode. Candidates will have to select their preferred university and fill in the application form. All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank (All India Rank). The result declared will be generated in online mode and will entitle the candidate for enrolment into the course subject to verification of their documents.
Candidates will have to complete the admission formalities and pay the course fee to book their seats as the GMCET 2025 exam will be conducted in online mode. Candidates can appear from their laptop or desktop. Candidates will be given a time slot to appear for the exam. They will have to appear at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the examination. The test slots for the exam day will be informed a day before the examination on the registered email and mobile number of the candidate which they have submitted during the application form filling process.

Q: Can I apply for more than one programme offered through GMCET?
Yes, candidates can apply for more than one programme. While filling the application there will be a provision to select the programme for which you want to apply. Students can select the programme they wish for however, the final allocation will be based on their rank as per the result. Also it must be noted that candidates cannot pursue two programmes simultaneously.
Q: Can I correct the GMCET application form after submission?
Unlike other exams where they exam conducting authorities provide a window for a few days to edit and make some corrections in the application form. GMCET doesn't provide the same. Once the GMCET application form is submitted then it cannot be edited. Hence, aspirants are advised to fill their application form carefully and update each information after cross checking it and also go through the detailed application form before clicking on the final submission.

Step 1: Register for the GMCET Exam
Primarily, candidates will have to register themselves on the official website of the GMCET by providing all the required details such as their full name, mobile number, and email address. They will also have to fill in their state and the district and click on submit. Candidates have to make sure that the given information is valid and correct. Once registration is done, an automated email with a Username and password will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID/Phone Number for future reference.

Step 2: Pay the GMCET Application Fee
After registration, candidates will have to use their credentials to log in to the portal. to complete the payment by clicking on Pay Now. Candidates have to proceed to the payment portal and choose Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking or UPI as per their choice.
Step 3: Submit the GMCET Application Form
After completing the fee payment step successfully, candidates will receive the application form summary on their GMCET profile page as well as on their registered email ID. Candidates are required to download the application form summary & save it for future reference.

No, the application fee for GMCET is non-refundable. If candidates plan to withdraw from the exam or skip giving it, they won't be given a refund from the exam conducting authorities of the application fee which is Rs. 1000. Hence, candidates are advised to make up their mind and keep aside any of their plans before applying for the GMCET exam.

There is no such provision to select the exam centre of GMCET while filling the application form.
