MASCOM Entrance Exam 2025 - The Manorama School of Communication (MASCOM), Kottayam, is expected to conduct the MASCOM Entrance Exam 2025 in May 2025. MASCOM 2025 Entrance Exam Application Process

The steps to apply for Journalism courses offered by MASCOM are mentioned below.

Step 1: Fill MASCOM Entrance Exam Application Form 

Candidates can visit the official website of Manorama School Communication and click on the 'Admissions' tab. On clicking on the Admission tab, a new page will open containing the necessary instructions to apply online and offline.

For Online Mode: Candidates willing to apply online will have to click on 'Apply Online' and register themselves by giving details like name, email ID, phone number, and date of birth. After successful registration, candidates will be given an Application ID, through which they will have to log in and fill in their application form. Candidates will also have to upload their passport-size photograph and signature (Max size 3 Mb).

For Offline Mode: Those willing to apply offline will have to click on 'Download Application Form'. After downloading the application form, candidates will be required to take a printout and fill in the application form and admit card in duplicate. Candidates will have to affix a recent Passport size photograph (They will need three photographs) and will have to sign in black or blue ink. Candidates will have to send the application form for each course separately. 

Step 2: Pay the application fee

For Online Mode: On completion of the online application form candidates will be led to a payment portal wherein they will be asked to pay the application fee of INR 750 (plus processing charges). Candidates can pay the application fee through credit card, debit card, or Internet banking.

For Offline Mode: The offline application will have to be accompanied by a Demand Draft for INR 885 in favour of MASCOM and will be payable at Kottayam. Candidates will have to send the application form to the address mentioned below:

Step 3: Get the MASCOM Entrance Exam Admit Card

Candidates will receive their MASCOM entrance exam 2025 admit cards online after successfully submitting the application form to the varsity. The entrance exam will be conducted online.

Step 4: Appear for the MASCOM Entrance Exam

Candidates aspiring to join the course are expected to have a good academic record, a keen interest in current affairs and politics, a deep commitment to journalism as a career and sound writing skills. Admission will be based on an online written exam and an interview. The online entrance exam consisting of subjective and objective questions tests a candidate's control over the language and general awareness. Tests will be conducted in English and Malayalam. 

Step 5: Check the MASCOM Entrance Exam Result

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online. The results will be announced after all such interviews.

MASCOM Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

Applicants to the courses must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Students who have appeared in their final examination may also apply. However, they will have to furnish adequate proof of graduation for their admission to be regularised. The official website also informs about some special conditions which are mentioned below:

  • Applicants who are full-time employees or students in another course shall not be eligible for admission.
  • MASCOM reserves the right to cancel a candidate’s admission if it is proved that they have forged documents for admission or have a criminal record that comes to light at any point during the selection process or course.
  • MASCOM Admission Committee's decision will be final and binding for the selection of a candidate.
  • MASCOM reserves the right to reject any application found incomplete or otherwise deficient.
  • MASCOM reserves the right to make changes to one or more of the regulations listed above.
