Questions will be from topics related to correcting the spellings, singular, plural, synonyms, antonyms, idioms and phrases, one-word substitutes, etc. In the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) of the GMCET syllabus, the question paper will test the candidate’s ability to identify a problem and the means to solve it. Aspirants should practice questions from topics like – Critical Reasoning, Series, Directions, Blood Relations, Syllogism, and Analogy.
General Knowledge of News & Current Affairs
In this section of the GMCET examination, the question paper will test candidates' knowledge related to general knowledge and current affairs awareness, wherein an aspirant’s aptitude regarding the same will also be tested. Thus, candidates need to be up-to-date with political, social, and economic happenings in the country and abroad.
Entertainment Media Knowledge
In this section as per the GMCET syllabus, candidates will be asked questions related to the media industry, and entertainment industry-related general questions to assess the aptitude of the candidates.
Brands & Brand Communication Basic Knowledge
As the name suggests, in this section candidates will be asked questions related to brand communication.

No, there are no such instances where the syllabus of the Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) has changed every year. Although there is also not a set or specified detailed syllabus issued by the exam conducting authority, however, they have given a few topics on their official website on which the questions will be asked in the exam. Candidates need to focus on these topics and read the study materials covering these topics.

No, the multiple choice questions that appear in the GMCET paper are asked in English. There is no provision of switching languages for the test.
