Only a few people are recommended by the college executives which can be called purely nepotism, But when it comes to placements, our college is not so good.

One of the Best Colleges in Central India.
Placements: Placements are good, as many companies visited this year for on-campus placements, and many students got placements in big tech companies and also in core companies. In YCCE, you can see both core companies and software companies, as well as startups.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. YCCE has many labs and a big library in which you can find various books. Wi-Fi facilities are available all over the campus. Classrooms and labs are well-equipped and well-furnished. We have lifts, water coolers, and many other facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best and most supportive. They will support you in all situations and with all your difficulties, whether it's related to academics or personal issues. Exams are held every semester; we have one-semester exam and two mid-semester exams. The weightage is 20 marks for Teacher's Assessment (TA), 30 marks for both mid-semesters and 50 marks for the end-semester exam for each subject.
Other: I found this course to be up to my expectations, and the college is also the best in the Nagpur region.

Strong infrastructure and placements, but the curriculum needs to be updated.
Placements: Computer Technology is one of the engineering courses offered by Nagpur's Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering. Placement details for this course are as follows. According to placement statistics, in 2023, around 80% of B.Tech students secured employment. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: YCCE offers a range of facilities to support students in the Computer Technology department and enhance their overall campus experience. Laboratories include SE and project labs, web tech labs, and PG programming labs. There is good connectivity of Wi-Fi with high-speed internet available 24/7.
Faculty: YCCE is known for its qualified faculty, relevant curriculum, and examinations. Almost all faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees. They are very helpful to students. All faculty at YCCE are experts in their respective fields. Regarding the curriculum design, it covers all the fields related to current industry standards.
Other: I chose this course because I am very passionate about technology, and my desire to build a career in IT because it aligns with current industry demands. The best part is the practical exposure, and the faculty are experts in their respective fields.

Sad reality of YCCE college.
Placements: As far as we know, the recession is going on in our IT industry. There is very high shortage of placements in every college. Students are getting placed one by one in this season with companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. When talking to seniors, they told me the placement rate was 60%.
Infrastructure: There we have our separate departments. Wi-Fi facilities are provided inside the labs only and our cellular network is low-use. We don't have our own cricket and football grounds for sports; we have to depend on other colleges grounds. Canteens and hostels have average tastes in food.
Faculty: The curriculum is not up-to-date for specialized branches but branches like IOT have better scope as they fall under the electronics department. Exams are way too serious; you have to study hard to score. There are no cheating in exams and teachers are very strict. You can pass easily by studying in one day, too.
Other: Events and fests are organized by students and enjoyed by them.

Satisfied with the college as I placed in a good company.
Placements: 80% approximately students are placed in ME in YCCE. The lowest package is of 2.5 LPA and the highest package is of 9 LPA. Top recruitment companies are JSW, TASL, Mahindra, etc. 100% students got internship opportunities. Top roles include GET position and Associate Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: YCCE college has a campus area of 70 acres which comprises of various department buildings. The library is big and contains various books from diverse areas. On-campus Wi-Fi is available for students and teachers. The lab has computers, Wi-Fi, scanners, printers, fans, and coolers. The hostel includes facilities like food, gym, sports activities area, Wi-Fi connections, etc.
Faculty: Teachers of YCCE college are well experienced with past work experience in the industry. It helps students to get theoretical knowledge with practical application. Teachers mentor students personally about career opportunities. Semester exams are based on what professors teach in class, so they are moderately easy.

The best college of my life .
Placements: Students become eligible for placement during the last year of their course, but they cannot start working until the last semester. The last semester has a non-technical curriculum meant for research work, which is mandatory for all. Even companies like Google come to Amity. Multiple companies, such as HCL, Trivium, IMARC, etc., came for placements. The average package for the course is INR 240,000. 10% of students got placed in my course with campus placement. My plans are to work now.
Infrastructure: Everyone gets a good room along with shared washrooms (the room has a bed, mattress, cupboard, table, and bookcase provided for all students) - you get to choose your own wingmates during the 2nd year. The hostel fee is 54K per year, and along with that, you pay a mess fee between 4-5K per month.
Faculty: The curriculum includes all real-life case studies, so it is easy to see the real application of the law. I think they do not require much improvement because they keep improving themselves every year. There is a semester system, and exams are held twice every year. Generally, they teach you for four months, and then there will be an exam. The level of the exam is so good that if you get 70%, you will be the topper of the course.

YCCE great placements but needs significant improvements.
Placements: 70% of students are in my course. The lowest package is about 2-2.5 LPA, the average package is about 3.5-4 LPA, and the highest package is about 8-9 LPA. Companies that visit us are LG Electronics, Mahindra and Mahindra LTD, Medicaocean Asian Pvt Ltd, and many more companies also many IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Byjus, Wipro, AWS, etc. 30-40% of students get internships in my branch. It depends on their interest and work in the direction of my branch. PCB designer, Field service engineer, quality assurance engineer, network engineer, communication engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good as as the fee structure. Hostel rooms are decent again not as much attractive they are as they are charging. Mess is so bad. No taste in lunch, dinner, breakfast, some gets affected by food poisoning after eating messy food. No medical facility is provided only fake. No ground in college for sports no courts and resources for playing. Canteens are decent but charge higher than the students.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and well-qualified. Some of the teachers are very helpful always guiding students about placements and the future. Teaching is good. No College doesn't help students to get ready for industry, students have to do it on their own. The reason is the college timing, students don't get extra time for their passion. To work on their skills to explore new things. The exams are quite challenging, not too much hard and too much easy, moderate type of exam. The pass percentage is 92%.
Other: The first thing to improve is college has to arrange seminars on various future technologies and upcoming job opportunities. The second thing is adding useless subjects to the syllabus, all are learning these subjects in their lower classes. Third is no active event in college. For example, sports events, singing events, and dancing events colleges are not focusing on nurturing the talent of students they are killing their dreams. The main thing to improve about this college is charging a lot of money from students.
