Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Best college In Nagpur YCCE.
Placements: I'm from the computer science and design department so the placement are good but due to global recession, it affects placement rates but from this year, as recession goes down, placement rates start increasing. Many renowned companies came to hire students, like TCS, Wipro, Sahaj, Godrej, the Indian Army, Accenture, and many more. These are some prominent recruiters who came for hiring. Talking about the highest package is around 12 LPA and average range is 3-5 LPA, They offer roles like associate, junior developer, SDE, etc.
Infrastructure: Ycce provides all top-level and best facilities to the students. Each lab has high-end performance PC. All classroom are digitalized with projector, cameras, Wi-Fi and many more things. The entire campus has Wi-Fi facilities. The infrastructure of YCCE is also pretty good. Talking about the canteen, food is average and the price is high compared to street food, and hostel rooms are very clean and nice.
Faculty: YCCE is an autonomous college. All the curriculum is designed by the college itself, and the final exam paper is also designed by college faculty members. As the college itself designs the syllabus, they update the syllabus every year and add new, latest industry-required content to the syllabus, which is really used by companies. All faculty members are highly educated, and almost all of them are M.Tech and Ph.D. holders. They are very helpful to the students by teaching and solving doubts of the students. Talking about the semester exam, we can say not that difficult and not that hard. You can easily pass the subject if you do study with a proper plan. The passing mark is 40 in ESE out of 100.
Other: I like games and designing new things, and that's why I took the computer science and design branch, which focuses on game development and design, and also YCCE has a huge reputation in Nagpur in terms of education.

Sad reality of YCCE college.
Placements: As far as we know, the recession is going on in our IT industry. There is very high shortage of placements in every college. Students are getting placed one by one in this season with companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. When talking to seniors, they told me the placement rate was 60%.
Infrastructure: There we have our separate departments. Wi-Fi facilities are provided inside the labs only and our cellular network is low-use. We don't have our own cricket and football grounds for sports; we have to depend on other colleges grounds. Canteens and hostels have average tastes in food.
Faculty: The curriculum is not up-to-date for specialized branches but branches like IOT have better scope as they fall under the electronics department. Exams are way too serious; you have to study hard to score. There are no cheating in exams and teachers are very strict. You can pass easily by studying in one day, too.
Other: Events and fests are organized by students and enjoyed by them.
