Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Good facilities and overall infrastructure.
Placements: Due to the recession, the number of placements was fewer compared to the previous year. The packages offered by companies range from 3.5 LPA to 13 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, TCS, and L&T have visited YCCE for campus recruitment. 100% of 8th-semester YCCE students got internships. The roles offered by companies are for automation purposes, web development, etc.
Infrastructure: The ETC departments have Wi-Fi facilities on every floor. The labs have all the necessary equipment. Students can borrow books from the library whenever they want. Every classroom has projectors. The canteens are neat and clean with hygienic food for students.
Faculty: Every semester is well organized. The faculty shares the Program Outcome and what will be learned in the subject. The teachers are Ph.D. holders and have an educational qualification of Master's. Our department also organizes industrial visits for skills development.
Other: The course focuses on IT as well as core industries. If a student is confused between IT and core branches, then they should choose ETC as their branch. The college organizes fests two times a year, departmental fest, and college fest.

Honest review by an honest alumni.
Placements: I am 2023 graduate of the Electronics and Telecommunications branch. Overall, the core curriculum was great. In YCCE, etc. branch, there are 100 to 150 candidates every year for placement for both core and software roles. For example Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan, TATA, etc. IT companies normally offers Junior Software Engineer or trainee roles. The highest salary could be 20 LPA, and average salary, which normally mass recruiters give, is 4 LPA. 60–70% of students got place every year.
Infrastructure: YCCE has a massive, beautiful green campus with great infrastructure. Which includes 3 canteens, an auditorium, conference labs, a huge library, and great ambience everywhere. Labs and classrooms are fine, having a capacity of 60–70 people. The library has all the great books and a nice seating area. About the college hostel, the food and stay are fine. The college has medical facilities. The campus also includes grounds for sports. And out of lots of clubs, events and games that are carried out all over the course,.
Faculty: YCCE has great faculty from first year to final year. All the teachers are well versed in there respective subjects. Most of them have a Ph.D. and have experienced it for an average of 4 to 11 years. All of them are helpful. The curriculum was great and knowledgeable. Yes, it was more theoretically oriented but yes, YCCE does have great labs if you are into practical knowledge. Exams are medium difficult and they follow the CGPA system.
Other: I wanted to enter the IT field and I knew in YCCE they give good placement for etc. branches, which is why I chose the college. The best thing about the course, I would say, is that you get knowledge of both the core and software fields. It is very fresh knowledge that one could have and that will never get old. YCCE can improve there curriculum as it is more theoretical so they should make it more practical. Otherwise, about fun in the college, YCCE has its annual gathering named Yash, then semester-wise teach and fun events, freshers parties, clubs, events and competitions going on all over the year.

The college is good in placement.
Placements: In the branch of electronics and telecommunication, around 80% to 90% got placed from our college. Last year in 2023-24, the count of placed students was 139 and was the highest placed in all other branches. The highest salary package offered was 11.88 LPA, and the average salary package offered was up to 3 LPA-5 LPA
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and well-distributed building for every branch. It has a separate laboratory and has a new computer to use in the library on college campus. Classrooms are now getting smart projectors for studies.
Faculty: Faculty members are good at helping and have the best qualifications. The course is not that hard and teachers makes it easy for students to understand the importance of course. Mid-semester exams are the main to score because papers are easy in it. End-semester exams are to improve pointers.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in microcontrollers, coding, and innovation. The best thing about this course is that the subjects are not a waste of time, they are useful for gaining knowledge. Fest, events, and connection are good and best ways to enjoy events.

There is placement issues this year (2023-24) due to recession .
Placements: There is honours course which is named as computer vision which teaches you about the pcl scada, robotics, dbms, etc. And tis another minor in which you can get the certification for AWS. Other than this you have four-five subjects in every sem.
Infrastructure: Yes all the faciliare good canteen to infrastructure. Th is ycce teams in almost every sports like cric, foo, basketball, kabbadi and many more. There is Wi-Fi facility which provides good internet speed. The labs are good. The food taste in canteen is okay not so good not so bad.
Faculty: As the college is Autonomous it is easy to score marks in exams in your mid sem as well as end sem exams. The course teacher complete there courses on time. As all teachers are experienced there is good quality of teaching. They ha experience of 15+ years.
Other: There should more practical knowledge you needed in electronics and telecommunication branch so I think in that field the college is not so good. There are two fest, one is departmental fest and other is yash which is for whole college.

Satisfied with the campus life and events.
Placements: From the 6th semester, students became eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited the campus were L&T, Tata, Accenture, ACC, Shapoorji Pallonji, and many more. The highest package was from L&T for 12 lacs per annum and the average package is 4.5 lacs per annum. Almost 50% got placed in the academic year 2022-2023.
Infrastructure: Eligibility for the course is that the candidate should have passed the Science stream or completed any stream. The candidate has to give entrance exams. Wi-Fi is available in every building for all the students. A canteen is also available in the center of the college. Classrooms are also clean, with one projector in each classroom. Libraries are also available in every department, which is free for all branch students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and help us in every doubt or situation. They always maintain a friendly nature towards students. Every subject has a different lap assigned for practical knowledge. Exams are also good but in exams, there are no options given to us. If there are three questions for 30 marks, then we have to solve all three questions to get full marks.
Other: Our college has a tech fest named 'ANTAHEEN ' and different departments have different names for the fests. Sports and extracurricular activities like the cricket team and football teams are formed by the college for inter-college tournaments.
