The UCEED question paper will be of 3 hours and include two parts - The computer-based Part A and the offline-based Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the paper.
Also, Part B paper answer booklets will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A before the declaration of results.
Part A will include the following types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Multiple Select Question (MSQ) Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). Part A will now include 57 questions.
Meanwhile, Part B will include 2 questions; this includes a sketching-based and an aptitide-based question.

IIT Bombay which is the exam conducting body of UCEED 2025 will prepare the question paper for the entrance exam. The question paper of UCEED 2025 will include two parts - Part A and Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the parts and also qualify Part A. Note that Part B answer booklet will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A.
Note that IIT Bombay has revised the syllabus for the UCEED 2025 exam. Now Part B of the question paper will include two questions - one question will be aptitude-based, while the second question will be sketching-based. The test duration for Paper B has also been increased to 60 minutes (from 30 minutes).
The UCEED exam will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will include Numerical Answer Type NAT Multiple Select Question (MSQ), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Meanwhile, Part B will include drawing and aptitude-based questions. Note that in the previous edition of the exam, Part B include only sketching-based question. So, starting UCEED 2024, the candidate also needs to prepare for aptitude based questions that will be asked in Part B. Questions for the aptitude section will evaluate the ability of the candidate to practically and appropriately respond to problems/situations with ingenuity and empathy.
It is recommended that you solve sample papers for UCEED as early as possible in your exam preparation. For instance, you can start solving sample papers once you complete a chapter. What you need to do is find out all the problems related to the topic and solve. But take care not to dabble with questions that are related to topics that you haven not started at all. It is because it will only be an exercise in futility. You can keep on solving sample papers up to the last few days leading up to the exam. Note that as you complete the syllabus, you should be able to attempt the complete sample paper.
