
UCEED Scorecard 2026 - IIT Bombay released the scorecard of UCEED 2026 on March 10, 2026. The deadline for downloading the scorecard is July 31, 2026.
UCEED scorecard contains information like Part A marks, category-wise qualifying marks for UCEED and name and roll number of the candidate. However, common merit ranks (All India Ranks), Part B marks, and UCEED Scores 2026 will be issued only for shortlisted candidates. The validity of the scorecard is one year from its release date.

- On login, it will be displayed on the screen

Note that the Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. Further, only such candidates who have qualified Part A will be shortlisted and allocated a merit rank.
This means if the candidates fails to qualify Part A of UCEED 2026, they will not be issued any merit ranks. The scorecards of such candidates will merely includes Part A scores. In contrast, the screcards of shortlisted will include a merit rank, total and sectional scores. Further, all shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in UCEED 2026 and seat allotment.
UCEED result was out on March 06, 2026. It is available at uceed.iitb.ac.in. To check results, candidates need to log in to the Candidate portal using their email ID and password.

All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank (All India Rank). All shortlisted candidates are considered as qualified candidates in UCEED 2026. Obtaining a rank in UCEED does NOT guarantee admission to the B.Des programme. Hard copies of the UCEED Score Card will not be available.

UCEED 2026 Merit Rank - Tie-Breaker Rule
If the total marks secured by two or more candidates are same, then tie will be decided based on UCEED tie break policy.
- A higher rank is given to a candidate who has scored higher marks in Part B.
- If tie is not resolved, then a higher rank will be given to a candidate who gets higher marks in Section 2 of Part A.
- If tie is still not decided, candidate with higher marks in Section 1 of Part A will be given a higher rank.
- If tie is still not decided, both candidates will be given same UCEED rank.

The counseling for UCEED 2026 will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allocation process. The counseling will be conducted in a centralized manner.
To avoid any last-minute unforeseen transaction issues, you should pay the seat acceptance fee for a round well before the end time/date of the corresponding round.
If the fee is not paid within the given deadline, allotment will be cancelled. Also, such seats will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.
What next after the release of the UCEED 2026 scorecard?
IIT Bombay conducts a Joint Admission Process (counselling) for candidates who qualify for the UCEED 2026 entrance exam.
Registrations for UCEED 2026 counselling will open from March 14, 2026. All candidates who have been assigned a merit rank need to duly fill in and submit the online application form for admission to the B.Des program. To participate in the B.Des admission counselling through UCEED 2026, all applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application counselling processing fee, which will be around ₹4,000.
The UCEED 2026 Seat allotment process is to have FIVE rounds. Seat allotment for Round I is to start from April 21, 2026. The allotment of seats is done as per the UCEED 2026 merit rank of the candidate.

The registration fee for UCEED counselling 2026 is INR 4,000. Fees have to be paid in online mode. Candidates will also have to pay seat-acceptance fee, which is separate from the counseling fee.

Yes, there will be biometric verification at the UCEED 2026 exam centre. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2026 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.
