AME CET 2025: Application Form (OUT), Admit Card, Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) is a national level entrance test for the license issuance course of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Along with that, the AME CET entrance test scores are also applicable for Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering courses in some of the approved institutes by the government bodies in India.  

AME CET consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions from five sections, which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and General Awareness. Candidates are allowed to take three attempts of AME CET. The test is conducted once a year and consists of one paper only. AME CET also provides scholarships of up to 100% to meritorious candidates.  

The AME CET can be taken by students who have passed or appeared for 10+2 board exam in science stream, or those who have completed a three-year diploma in engineering. The exam pattern and course duration vary accordingly.

The application process of AME CET 2025 comprises registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of fee. The application fee of AME CET 2025 is Rs 1600 for General and OBC candidates while female/SC/ST candidates must pay INR 1400 as application fee. AME CET 2025 eligibility criteria are as follows:  

• Candidates should pass 10+2 Board exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or equivalent AICTE-approved 3-years engineering diploma in any stream or any higher qualification in science with PCM at the time of admission.  
• Candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks in 10+2 in PCM or equivalent.  
• Candidates who are eligible for admission to B. Tech Courses are also eligible for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.  
• Candidate age should be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.  
• Candidates must not have colour blindness or any physical disabilities.

Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their admit card of AME CET 2025 along with one valid photo ID proof. The authorities will release the AME CET 2025 results online on the third week of May 2025 at the official website. Applicants appearing in the exam will be able to check their AME CET result through a registered mobile number and password. The result of AME CET will be available in online mode only. The authorities will release the AME CET result 2025 separately for all the phases of exam. The exam authority will conduct the AME CET 2025 counseling online from the Last week of May 2025.
