The Beginning of My College Journey: Orientation Day Insights

On the first day of the college, we attended an orientation session. I met a lot of unknown faces with a lot of questions in their mind. I made a friend there who eventually became my best friend. The orientation was very useful. We were introduced to a new campus and many classmates. We also got a chance to meet faculty members and other staff members.

Overcoming Challenges: My Path to Engineering through JEE and CUET

I was a student who did not like studying Biology. So, I chose PCM with Computer Science as an additional subject in Class 11. I scored 86% in Class 12 board exams and decided to become an Engineer. I appeared for both JEE Main and the CUET exam. In the first session of JEE Main , I failed to get a good college. So, I started preparing for the second attempt. In the CUET exam, I got a good score but that was also not enough to secure admission to any top Engineering College. At that time, the only challenge was to secure a good rank in the JEE Main exam. In the second attempt of JEE Main, I secured a rank of 93000.

Securing ECE at MSIT: A Result of Smart Counseling Choices

I applied for both JOSSA and GGSIPU counseling. I could not secure a good college through JOSAA counseling as it was difficult to crack. I got Information Technology as well as CSE in various colleges. However, I wanted to secure admission to Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology because of its placement rate and infrastructure. Also, this college was near my house. I applied for CSC because I liked Coding. But, getting into BTech ECE helped me learn various things in core as well as working on my coding skills. Now, I feel that choosing ECE at this college was the best decision. In the final round of counseling, I secured admission to this college.

A:

The participating institutes of JEE Main are the colleges that participate in the JoSAA counselling for admission in various Engineering, Architecture and Planning courses. Besides JEE Main participating institutes, many colleges offer admission based on the scores of JEE Main but are not a part of JoSAA. Such institutes organise their counselling process for admission.

There are a total of 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 19 other GFTIs that participate in JoSAA counselling. The number of seats in these institutes can be checked below. Other institutes which offer admission based on JEE Main scores are from the states which do not conduct their entrance exams for engineering admission and include U.P., Bihar, M.P., Delhi, among others.

A:
For joining IIT/NIT/IIIT through JEE, candidates are not required to provide a domicile Certificate. It is only NIT where admission is offered against the Home State quota and it is not determined on the basis of the state to which you belong but on the basis of the state in which you appear for your 12th board exam. The domicile Certificate is not required during JoSAA counseling. The candidates are given admission based on their JEE score.

Q:   What should be my rank in JEE Advanced to get admission in top IITs?

A:
To secure admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), obtaining a rank around 5000 in the JEE Advanced examination is generally considered necessary. However, for admission to the top IITs, achieving a rank within the approximate range of 2000-2500 is typically required. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology offers better placements than Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. Some reviews on our site indicate a higher average package and a more relaxed atmosphere at MAIT, while MSIT might have a stronger reputation for overall placement success rate.

Academics is fine but not great. It is the best college for a B.Ed course in GGSIPU.

MSIT's location is comparatively one of the best among the IP colleges. Close proximity to nice and pocket friendly food joints and clubs and malls in Rajouri Area.

The crowd is quite good and well balanced. I've made
