The placements are quite good here even though the package at which the visiting companies took the students is low but success ratio is good indeed.

A roller coaster ride. An enjoyable experience.
Placements: The placement percentage for the year 2024 was about 70% and above. In the previous year, about 80% and above of placements were offered. The average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered in 2023 was 80 LPA and the highest salary package offered in 2022 was 1.7 crores. In 2024 highest salary package offered was 50 LPA, and these are off-campus placements. Major companies that students from our campus are mainly service-based mass recruiters. Some of the students also get placed in companies like Microsoft, Abode, Google, Amazon, Atlassian, etc., off-campus. One major mass recruiter also visited the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the college. Labs are there but are of poor quality. Classrooms are decent, but some of them do not have air-conditioners, which will be tough to sit in the summertime. The library is good. There is a central library in the MSI builidng of the college.
Faculty: Teachers are not well-qualified to teach. Their teaching quality is poor. They are supportive. The course curriculum is not relevant in today's times. It has various subjects which are of no use. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. We have two exams in a semester. One is mid-term exams, and the other is final exams. Passing marks are 40 out of 100 in each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I want to get into technology sector and grab a good placement. This was the best college that I was getting so I chose it. Things I wish I can improve about this course is their course curriculum. It includes core subjects from the very first year. The college should remove subjects like a manufacturing process and environmental studies. The campus has a decent crowd which is the main reason I joined this college. Many events are organised in our college like the Navratri event, pre-Diwali event, January fest, etc. Extracurricular activities are not conducted in college. The campus size is very small.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2026

One of the Best Opportunities for the Value of Education.
Placements: I am enrolled in EEE for the batch of 2022-2026. The college offers a great placement record, and in the year of my admission, it achieved 100% placement. The year I got my admission done, i.e., 2022, the highest package was 1.7 crore and the minimum package was 3.5-4 Lacs. The average package was around 11-12 Lacs for 2022. In 2023, the highest package was 80 Lacs at Atlassian, with the minimum being 3.5 Lacs and the average around 10 Lacs. For 2024, the result is yet to come. All tech and electrical companies recruit.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good for classroom students. You get a proper college feeling, somewhere strict and also lenient, in terms of faculty and management of the college. The infrastructure can be said to be in good condition but can be improved. Also, the Wi-Fi and laboratory infrastructure are good, and the library and book bank offer study and research-helping activities and infrastructure. Hostel facilities, I would say, can be improved, but on a larger basis, they are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful on a majority level, whereas some exceptions are also there. The faculty members are knowledgeable and qualified enough to cater to the advanced academic needs of the students. The course is relevant and, on a larger level, prepares students for placement. The semester exams, mid-semester, and end-semester exams can be managed and taken care of by the notes provided by the teachers, and they also recommend good books to help in the process.
Other: The course offers great demand and opportunity in the future. It also offers good placement at this college. The top recruiting companies include all the tech giants like Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft. In EEE, it includes Schneider as well. Top roles are engineers in software and electrical majors, such as SDE, for example. The fees for the complete tenure are 6,00,000, and any student with a decent level of preparation and ability is able to get a package of 1.5 times their college fees, which is a great thing. Also, they are including ML and AI in the minor specialization.

Less fees and decent placement.
Placements: Around 90 percent of the students were placed in 2020-2024 batch. Placements were decent in time of global recession. Highest package was around 52 LPA and lowest was 3.5 LPA. Average would be around 5-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS and HCL. Mostly CSE and ECE branches were preferred for software developer role. Many students got internships also but data is not disclosed.
Infrastructure: For my course which is ECE labs are decent but equipments in some of the labs are not in working conditions. WiFi connectivity is also slow and classrooms are just basic, not so good. Hostels are below average. But mess food is quite good. And library is also quite decent. Medical facilities are not known.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable. But lab assistants are not so good. Teachers also help before exam providing suitable theory and learning material for exams. They also provide a pdf of some books helping in theory section. Difficulty level of exams are quite good. It will check all your theory and practical skills.
Other: Fees that you pay for this college will be very low and knowledge you get is good. So it is a quite value for money. Placements are decent you have to prove yourself in the placement. Crowd is also decent since it is located in Delhi. Events are below average. It is near metro station around 1km so connectivity is also good. But there are no extracurricular activities. Campus surrounding is also good. A big park is also there and there is a police station also near the campus. But campus area is small around 8 acres.

Title - A place to Learn, Grow and Excel in a technology relatedfield.
Placements: Placements at MSIT Janakpuri have been increasing, but it all boils down to the quality of students. As an active student, I can tell that the college tries its best to invite companies on campus. TCS, ZS, ION, Flipkart, Juspay, Adobe, BYJU'S, Cognizant, and Accenture are the top recruiters. The highest package off-campus goes as high as 52 LPA. This depends on the student, but the students are capable; if the institute offers more support, these figures will improve significantly.
Infrastructure: MSIT has a decent campus with decent facilities, not too big, just 8 acres. Labs are up to the best mark and working properly. The library is probably the best part of it—well-maintained and equipped. The canteen is decent as well, with fairly affordable rates. Sports facilities are practically non-existent. Football and volleyball are the major sports played and participated in by our college. But students are demanding more, and it is growing day by day. Wi-Fi speed on the campus is good; it covers mostly all parts of the campus as well as the hostel.
Faculty: The college has highly qualified teachers with experience in various fields. Guest lectures and various workshops were also done on a regular basis. The faculty members are student-friendly and always ready to help the students with whatever they need. The teachers guide the students perfectly. The exams are not very hard to clear; you can clear them by proper guidance from the teacher and also self-studies. The coding environment in the college is also very good, as good students always try to hustle and get the best out of here.

Happy school life in college with all courses and great faculty.
Placements: I saw the report today itself. In 2022, the number of students placed was 571. In 2023, this number decreased to 563 with 721 job offers, and in 2024, this number reduced to 421. This shows a sudden decline in the placement rate year to year, and the highest package is also on a reducing scale.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is pretty decent. There are no Wi-Fi facilities in the classrooms or even in the college. Wi-Fi is only provided in the library. The infrastructure is more like a school with double-seat benches. Overall, facilities are decent, like clean water and toilets. There are no smart boards, only green boards. There is a small library in the college.
Faculty: The faculty is very good. They are very helpful and always supportive. Some teachers just study the notes, but some teachers teach excellently, like (Electrical Science, Physics). As this college is under GGSIPU, exams are conducted by the authority, and exam centers are allotted to conduct the exam fairly.
Other: In this college, in the first year, all subjects are taught. There are proper labs with working instruments and special faculty for the labs. There are different batches, for example, the morning batch and evening batch. The course is overall good. But the college life in this college is negligible as there are no events and no fresher's party. Even the seniors are a little less interactive. It is a small campus of about 8 acres.

Review of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement is just fine at this college; not that good, not that bad either. Every year, around 60% of the students in my course get placements, out of which half already secure internships in their fields, but the rest struggle to find jobs. So overall, the placement is just fine.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus of the college are worth appreciating. Although the campus is a bit small, it includes all the necessary facilities: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a library, and computer labs. I never lived in the college hostel, but they seem to be quite good too. The rooms are spacious enough for two students and their belongings.
Faculty: The teachers are not very qualified; not all of them are postgraduates, yet they manage to teach us well here. To be honest, the teachers are not so good. They can be rude, often unable to answer many of our questions, sometimes late for class, and what they teach, though within the syllabus, is very difficult to understand. The exams they set are so difficult that the pass percentage here is also 40%.
Other: I chose this college because the fees were lower compared to other larger colleges.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology offers better placements than Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. Some reviews on our site indicate a higher average package and a more relaxed atmosphere at MAIT, while MSIT might have a stronger reputation for overall placement success rate.
