Candidates aspiring for IISc Bangalore MTech admission needed to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The application form of IISc Bangalore MTech admission 2020 was released online on February 1 and available till March 23 while the last date to fill applications for MTech research program was April 30. The application process of IISc Bangalore MTech 2020 admission involved steps such as registration, filling up of form, payment of fee and submission. Below were the steps to be followed while filling of application form:
Registration: Candidates were required to first register by filling the following details:
- Name of a candidate
- Date of Birth (DoB)
- Email Address (other than hotmail/ outlook)
- Select a Security Question
- Security Answer
- Text as shown in the image
- Create a Password
Confirmation: Once details were entered, a confirmation page opened showing all the filled in information. Verification of the details through mail received at registered email address of candidates had to be done to complete the registration.
Filling application form: Next, candidates had to log-into their accounts, using email address/application number, password and text as shown in the image. After log in, click on course (MTech/ MDes) and enter the following details:

Upload scanned images of requisite documents: Following documents scanned images had to be uploaded in prescribed format and dimension:
- Passport size photograph: 4 cm (150px) Width * 4.8 cm (184px) Height
- Candidate’s signature of the Candidate: 8 cm (300px) Width * 1 cm (40px) Height
- Caste/KM/PH certificate Format: JPEG/GIF/TIFF/PNG
- Once done, click on “Proceed” tab
- Enter the preference of departments and the following academic information:

- Branch/Specialisation
- Qualifying Degree
- Status (Passed/Appear/Appearing) Class
- Details of GATE or CEED
- Qualification
- Details of class 10 (or equivalent) examination

Pay Application Fees: Pay the application fees as prescribed below either through Net banking or credit/debit card. Once payment was done, the transaction ID was generated. Note that ID and keep it safe.

IISc Bangalore MTech Admission 2020 will be based on their valid GATE 2020 scores. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE score and interview.
