Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry, conducts the counselling for admission of students to various undergraduates engineering programmes (BTech). The counselling is conducted every year based on the JEE Main ranks of candidates. CENTAC also conducts admissions for first-year MBBS, BAMS, BDS, BVSc & AH, BPT, BSc (Nursing), BSc (MLT), BPharma, BA LLB, LLB, BSc (Agriculture) and BSc (Horticulture) programmes and postgraduate programmes. Candidates aspiring for admission to the colleges of Puducherry through CENTAC Counselling 2024 are required to fulfil the following eligibility conditions.

Candidates who have passed in the three years Diploma Course or four years sandwich Diploma Course in Engineering / Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the subjects covered in 3rd to 6th Semesters

A pass in any B.Sc. Degree ( with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Degree Level) with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC candidates) in aggregate in subjects covered from first to last semesters except language subjects. This admission is only for the residents of Union Territory of Puducherry.
NOTE: B.Sc. candidates shall be considered for admission only for the unfilled seats after filling the available seats with Diploma Candidates.

Candidates aspiring to participate in CENTAC Counselling need to follow the below steps to fill the CENTAC 2024 application form:

• The first step towards CENTAC 2024 application process is to register on the official website by filling in details like name, contact number, date of birth, etc.
• Once registered, they need to fill in their details, academic details, payment details
• Next, candidates need to select their category and the courses/s they wish to apply to.
• It’s a must for aspirants belonging to other states to enter JEE Main details while filling up academic details in the CENTAC online application form.
• Once the CENTAC application form is submitted successfully, an application number will be generated. This must be saved for all future references.
• Your application form will not be considered valid until and unless the printout of the online filled-in CENTAC application form along with other required documents reaches the office of CENTAC authorities.
• Aspirants are required to mention the generated Application Number on the top right corner of all the enclosed documents with the print out of the online CENTAC application form.
• It’s important to note that aspirants need not submit their original documents. Only photocopies of all the documents are required. 
• Aspirants who have passed HSC or equivalent examination will be eligible to apply for CENTAC but based on JEE Main scores.
• Such candidates need to fill up the online CENTAC application form using their JEE Main marks (scorecard) before the last date.
• Besides the downloaded copy of the online filled in CENTAC application form, candidates also need to enclose the given below documents which should be attested.
• All the documents need to be sent to the Convenor CENTAC office, PEC Campus, Pillaichavady, Puducherry – 605 014 through Courier/Post.
