DCECE Application Form 2025: Date, Registration, Documents Required, How to Apply for Bihar Polytechnic

Candidates can refer to the steps provided below to fill DCECE application form. 

Step 1: Registration

First candidates have to click on ‘New Registration’ and enter the following details:

• Name of Exam: DCECE 2025.
• Course Group: PE/PPE/PM/PMD.
• Your Name: First Name, Mid Name, Last Name.
• Re-Enter Your Name: First Name, Mid Name, Last Name.
• Date of Birth.
• Re-Enter Date of Birth.
• Are you a permanent resident of Bihar?.
• Reservation Category?.
• Re-Select Reservation Category?.
• Do you claim a disabled quota?.
• Email ID.
• Note: Please note that all communication related to the application including link registration for activation etc. will be sent to this email id.
• Password.
• Confirm Password.
• Note: Password length should be 8-20. (It must contain at least one letter, one number and one special character).
• Mobile number of the candidate.
• Re-Enter Mobile No. of the Applicant.
• Mobile.
• Aadhaar Card Number.
• Security Question.
• Security Answer.

Step 2: Enter Personal Information

Here candidates need to fill in their personal details in the space provided and click on ‘Save & Continue' to proceed.

Step 3: Upload Photograph & Signature

In this step, candidates have to upload scanned images of photos and signatures with the given dimensions. Photographs should be uploaded with Placard.

Step 4: Academic details

Next, candidates have to fill in their educational qualification details of Class X standard such as exam passed, board, the subject appeared/appearing and among others.

Step 5: Preview/Edit DCECE Application Form

In this step, candidates can edit/modify details in the application form. After submitting the application form, they will not be allowed to edit any details in the application form. After checking, candidates will have to click on the ‘Declaration’ and click on ‘click & confirm’ to submit the application.

Step 6: Payment of Fee

After filling in all the details correctly, candidates have to pay the application fee. There are two modes of making the payment of application fee:

• Challan – Offline payment through e-challan must be done at a nearby bank.
• Online Payment - Candidates will be able to pay the fee online (debit/credit card or internet banking).

Step 7: Print out of Application Form

Lastly, candidates have to take the printout of the application form (Parts A and B). Multiple copies of the complete application form should be printed as it will be required at different stages of the admission process.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board mentions the DCECE application fee in the official notification. Candidates can check below the applicable application fee to apply for DCECE 2025.

Candidates must keep the below-given information readily available before filling out the online DCECE application form:

• Email id.
• Mobile number
• Scanned / Soft copy passport-size photograph (Less than 100KB).
• Scanned / Soft copy of signature (Less than 100KB).
• Aadhar Card (if available).
• Credit card, Net banking or ATM-cum-Debit card if available.

The application form correction window will be provided for the candidates who have completed the form and submitted the same within the deadline. Using the application form correction window, candidates can edit/correct the details in the submitted form, if required. This correction facility is a one-time opportunity. To make changes in the online submitted DCECE application form, candidates have to log in to the official website.

Steps to Access the DCECE application form correction facility:

• Visit the official website of DCECE.
• Navigate to the “DCECE form correction” tab.
• Enter your DCECE application number, password, and security pin.
• Hit the “Sign In” button.
• Correct the mistake(s) in the DCECE application form.
• Finally, submit the form.
