JEE Main Admit Card 2025 Session 1: The National Testing Agency has announced the JEE Main 2025 admit card session 1 date. As per the NTA, the JEE Main 225 hall ticket will be released 3 days before the exam date. The Session 1 JEE Main Admit Card 2025 download direct link will be activated on January 20, 2025.

The JEE Mains 2025 hall ticket download link will be available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, through JEE Main login 2025. Candidates must use their application number and password/date of birth at JEE Main Admit Card 2025 Login to download their admit cards.

Candidates must take one printout of their JEE Mains admit card 2025 session 1, preferably a colour printout. Entry inside the JEE Main 2025 exam centre will be given with an admit card only. Candidates must also carry one photo ID proof (Aadhar/PAN/any other government-issued ID) and one passport-size photo (the same photo uploaded in the application form) to the exam centre. JEE Mains 2025 Dress Code

NTA has issued detailed guidelines for JEE Mains dress code 2025 in the information brochure. Candidates appearing in the exam must follow all the JEE Mains 2025 dress code instructions. Candidates must adhere to the below-mentioned points for the dress code of JEE Main 2025.

  • Candidates must not wear any cloth having metallic items.

  • Candidates are not allowed to wear a cap/ muffler or any cloth over their heads.

  • Wearing any kind of jewelry or ornaments is strictly prohibited.

  • Candidates must not wear goggles, rings, bracelets, or any of such items.

Highlights of Candidate Entry inside Exam Centre

  1. The security guards will checked every candidate thoroughly at the time of entry inside the exam centre.
  2. Before entering the exam hall, the invigilator at the JEE Main Exam Centre will check and verify the candidate details mentioned in JEE Main admit card and validate it with the photo ID proof.
  3. After reaching the exam hall, candidates admit card will be checked again. The invigilator will ask candidate to put their left hand thumb impression in the attendance sheet and photograph of candidates will be submitted.
  4. Candidates will then be directed to their designated seat where they will appear for the exam.

As per NTA notification, there is no restrictions on tattoo. Candidates can have tattoos and they will not be denied entry becasue of this. However, it is to be informed that tattoos should not alter or differentiate the appearance of candidate and his photo used in filling the JEE Main application form.

Q:   Is it mandatory to carry colour printout of JEE Main admit card?

A:

No, it is not compulsory to take the colour printout of JEE Main admit card to the exam centre. According to the official notice, candidates need to bring the printout of the admit along with the (original) Photo Identity Card, whose number is mentioned in the admit card. They need to bring the admit card in each session to secure admission to exam centre. Candidates need to preserve the admit card till the declaration of the final result as it is required for the admission process.

JEE Main Admit Card 2025- Items to Carry at Exam Centre

Candidates need to carry the following items to the exam centre.

  1. Admit card,
  2. One passport-size photo
  3. Any one photo ID proof among Aadhar/PAN/Driving License/Voter ID
  4. Medical certificate by PwD/PwBD candidates availing scribe service

Any other item will not be allowed inside the centre. Some exam centres have the facility of luggage room where candidates can place their belongings like bag, books or any eatables. However, it is advised that candidates must not carry anything other than the allowed items

Note: For BArch paper, candidates must bring their own geometry set, colour pencils, erasers and pencils. No watercolours are required

Special Provision for Diabetic Students

The authority allows eatables and drinks including water bottles inside the exam centre for diabetic patients. The concessions are given to diabetic candidates keeping their health conditions in mind. Diabetic students must carry the following things inside the examination hall:

  • Fruits

  • Sugar tablets

  • Transparent water bottle

Note: Candidates will not be allowed to carry packaged foods such as chips/chocolate/sandwiches etc.

JEE Main 2025 Admit Card: Items prohibited inside exam centre

Candidates are not allowed to carry any of the prohibited items inside the exam centre. If any candidate is found hiding prohibited item inside the exam hall, strict action would be take against the candidate. Items which are not allowed inside exam centre are

  • Pencil/Geometry Box or any other stationery
  • Handbag
  • Purse
  • Any kind of paper or printed material
  • Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
  • Electronic items and instruments such as Mobile Phone, Ear Phone, Microphone, Pager, Calculator
  • Instruments such as DocuPen, Slide Ruler, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder
  • Any type of watch including electronic watches with a calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the examination hall/room

Q:   I am a diabetic student. Will eatable items like candy, chocolate be allowed for me to JEE Main exam?

A:

JEE Main aspirants who are Diabetic are allowed to carry sugar tablets, fruits like bananas, oranges, or apples, and a transparent water bottle as per NTA. Diabetic students are advised to keep a check on their health before and in between the exams to avoid any health issues.

Yes, differntly abled candidates need to carry their PwD certifcate to the exam centre. Candidates should check that their certificate is valid and issued by the competent authority. JEE Main Admit Card 2025 Exam Day Instructions

NTA will notify exam day instructions to candidates through the JEE Mains 2025 hall ticket. Candidates should check all the exam day guidelines mentioned in their JEE Main 2025 admit card and adhere to them. All exam day guidelines for candidates are listed below.

  • JEE Main aspirants will not be allowed to carry any item other than those mentioned on the admit card.

  • Blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination room

  • Candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of the sheet and return the sheets and admit card to the Invigilator, before leaving the examination hall

  • Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles to the examination hall/room. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwiches, etc.

  • Candidates will have to sit on the seat allocated to them

  • Candidates will be allowed to appear at the allotted venue of the test only

  • Wearing a watch inside the exam hall is not allowed

  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre once the exam starts

  • Candidates without an admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam

  • Leaving the exam hall before closure/end of the exam is not permitted

  • Request for change in JEE Main 2025 exam centres will not be entertained

Q:   What is JEE Main dress code?

A:

NTA has not specified any fixed dress code fo JEE Main exam. However, candidates are advised to wear light and comfortable clothes on the day of exam. Also, candidates are not allowed to wear any kind of jewellery. During the checking at exam centres, scarfs (dupatta) and cap are checked. So candidates should avoid wearing any thing which could result in problems.
