I am fully satisfied, but the academic part is a little over, and you get stressed sometimes.
Placements: During the first phase of placements, IIT Delhi received 1,050 offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs). 1,000 students were selected during the first phase of placements. IIT Delhi received more than 50 international offers from around 20 international companies. The core (technical) sector was the top recruiting sector, placing 20.7% of the total students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but hostels are old. There are a few new hostels, and a few are to be made. Eleven Boys' Hostels and two Girls' Hostels house around 5,000 IITians. Each hostel is self-contained with a mess, common room, reading room, indoor games room, gym, and other such facilities. The rooms are provided with internet through a 10 Mbps leased line.
Faculty: Curriculum instructors are responsible for understanding the course syllabus and learning objectives, and deciding how to pace the material. IIT Delhi courses have three scheduled tests: Minor 1, Minor 2, and Major. The timetable committee determines the schedule for these tests, and classes are suspended during the exam period. Instructors may also add additional tests, quizzes, assignments, and term papers. Communication: IIT Delhi uses Moodle, a web-based tool for communication with students. Moodle also allows students to submit assignments and take online quizzes. Plagiarism detection: IIT Delhi uses external tools like Turnitin and Moss to detect plagiarism.
Other: Campus life is the best here. You get to enjoy with friends. There are only minor improvements, so it's okay. Ah, and Rendezvous, our cultural fest, is the best.

An excellent college but just the old education system of India.
Placements: Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Big4, Apple, Flipkart, Deloitte, EY, Reliance, Lloyd, Tata, LG come here for placements in big companies, and the placement season is starting soon. Packages are also quite better than other colleges, so you can also enjoy a nice financial life.
Infrastructure: The library is quite good as it operates for 24 hours. The lecture hall complex is quite cool in terms of AC, and the structure is well maintained. The course offers quite a range of flexibility in choosing what things you want to study. But the hostels are not so good, as it depends on which hostel you receive.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are not good in terms of caring about students or thinking from the students’ side. The checking pattern, the number of quizzes, and examinations are just too much in this short period. It’s just like a war of exams, flooding upon the students.

In short, just prefer IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and NIT Mumbai before considering this college.
Placements: Placements are overall good, but the problem is it is overhyped in videos that IIT placements are top-notch levels; they get 20 LPA minimum. Even many are unemployed. The main college buildings are shown as newly constructed in photos, but in real life, they seem like 30-year-old buildings.
Infrastructure: The boys' hostel is not good; the food is okay, but many times it's just average. Only the girls' hostel is like a five-star hostel. Again, the main college buildings appear newly constructed in photos, but they seem old in reality. You need to maintain a relationship with the faculty.
Faculty: Regarding faculty, the marks depend on their moods. What you can do is maintain a good relationship with the teachers. While placements are overall good, they are often overhyped in videos, suggesting minimum salaries of 20 LPA, but you can end up with as low as 2 LPA.
Other: Ragging is prevalent here, like in any other college. As for college batchmates, you'll mostly encounter individuals focused solely on their own work.

Reasons why I chose CS at IIT Delhi.
Placements: More than 95% of students in our branch get placed every year and the highest package is more than 2 crore, the average is 40 LPA, and the lowest offered is around 25 LPA (this is only for our branch of computer science and engineering). The top recruiters are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Flipkart. Around 70% of students get internships via referral. The top roles offered are consulting and marketing.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is world-class, with free high-speed Wi-Fi in every corner of the college. Classrooms are very well maintained and spacious, as are labs. All the basic facilities in the hostel are provided here, like a bed, a study table, 2 almirahs and a wide variety of mess menus. Medical facilities are excellent, with immediate ambulance service and 24/7 hospital facilities.
Faculty: Teachers, Professors and TAs are very kind-hearted and friendly in nature, and most of them are Ph.D. holders from other IITs. The course curriculum is excellent here; yes, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are neither very tough nor very easy. The passing percentage is about 90%.

Really good academic infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Overall, the average package was around INR 17.60 LPA. Top roles offered were technical, IT and consulting jobs. Top recruiters of IIT Delhi placements were Air India, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, and Ola Electric. IIT Delhi received around 1100 offers, including PPO's. Around 10% students got internship in Google, Microsoft, etc. The highest package was around 3.5 crore INR. Lowest was 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The wifi is slightly above average. It will run quickly in terms of your basic needs. Labs are equipped with every single thing that students need. Classrooms are literally so big that they can fit 300 students at once and there are many classrooms in lecture halls. The library is in a very good state and has an AC and silent atmosphere so that you can study well. However, the hostel has below-average facilities and needs to improve. The mess is okay but sometimes it can get bad. There are facilities for sports at the Mittal centre. The hospital is open 24*7 and is free of charge from doctor fees to medicine if you are a student at IIT Delhi.
Faculty: Here, teachers are very helpful and are ready to solve your doubts. They are well above qualified. Teaching quality in lectures is by slides and most of the time you have to study by yourself. In the first year, the course is not curriculum relevant but from the second year onwards, it becomes useful for industry. Semester exams are not difficult if you study regularly but it can get difficult if you leave it to the last days of the exam.

Only the CRL rank is taken into account for IITs. Because of their higher cut-offs, admittance to IITs is impossible for someone with a CRL rank of 4 lakh. IIT admissions are highly competitive, with just the CRL rank being taken into consideration. SC category ranks are not used for admission to II
