• Mathematics – Moderately Tough. Weightage was given to chapters of Algebra and Calculus. Questions from Circle, Parabola & Hyperbola with mixed concept questions in Coordinate Geometry.  In Calculus, questions were asked on Limits, Application of Derivative, Indefinite Integral, Differential Equations, and Area. In Algebra, questions asked from Complex Numbers, Progressions, Permutation & Combination, Binomial Theorem, Statistics, Matrices & Determinants- 2 ques Probability, Vector-2 ques & 3D Geometry- 2 ques. Few MCQs and numerical-based questions had lengthy calculations and were tricky.
• Physics – This section was easy. Questions were asked from almost all chapters. Some good questions from chapters on Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, SHM & waves, Heat & Thermodynamics,  Rotational Motion, Wave Optics, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic Induction, Modern Physics, Atoms & Nuclei. Numerical-based questions were easy. Physics was balanced and easy.
• Chemistry – Easy to Moderate. Inorganic & Organic Chemistry had more weightage as compared to Physical Chemistry. Questions asked from GOC, Alcohols, Ether & Phenols, Amines, Aldehydes & Ketones, Biomolecules, Aryl & Alkyl Halides mixed concept questions, Physical Chemistry had questions from Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry & Chemical Equilibrium.  Inorganic Chemistry had questions from Coordination Compounds, d & f -block elements & Chemical Bonding. Some NCERT fact-based questions were asked which made it easy for students.

• Mathematics – The section was moderately tough. Questions were asked from all chapters with an emphasis on the chapters of Calculus & Coordinate Geometry. Questions asked from Matrices & Determinants, 3D Geometry, Vectors, Permutation & Combination, Probability, Complex Numbers, Statistics, Progressions, Quadratic Equations, Function, Limits, Continuity & Differentiability, Application of Derivative, Definite Integrals, Differential Equations, Area, Straight Line, Circle, Conic Sections with mixed concept questions. The Numerical Section had lengthy calculations from chapters of Calculus & Coordinate Geometry. A few questions were reported as lengthy and tricky. Few students reported errors in 2 questions with insufficient data.
  
• Physics – This section was easy. Questions were asked from Kinematics, Gravitation (2 Questions), Rotational Motion (2 Questions), Laws of Motion, Magnetism, Ray Optics, Capacitance, Electromagnetic Induction, AC Circuits, Modern Physics, Work Power & Energy, Heat & Thermodynamics. Numerical-based questions were lengthy but easy. A few fact-based questions from class XII chapters of NCERT were also asked.
• Chemistry – Easy. Organic and Inorganic Chemistry was given more weightage compared to Physical Chemistry. Questions asked from Periodic Table, Chemical Bonding, d & f Block elements, Electrochemistry, Mole Concept, Coordination Compounds, p-block elements, General Organic Chemistry (4 questions), Alcohol, Ether & Phenol, Biomolecules, Amines, Aryl & Alkyl halides with mixed concept questions. Some fact-based questions from NCERT were asked.

JEE Main 2024 April 5 Shift 1 Paper Analysis by Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL)

• Mathematics - This section was moderate to difficult based on students’ feedback. Questions from Calculus were dominant followed by Vectors & 3D, Matrices and Determinants. Questions were also asked from Quadratic Equations and Binomial Theorem in the paper. Almost all the topics were covered. The quality of the questions was good and the paper was a bit lengthy because of the Maths part. In comparison to the 11th and 12th class syllabi, most of the questions were from the 12th syllabus only.
• Physics - According to the feedback received from students, the Physics part was easy. Questions from Thermodynamics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, Modern Physics and Electrostatistics were duly represented in the paper. Most of the questions were asked from the 12th class syllabus. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be an effective strategy. 
• Chemistry - Most of the questions were theoretical with a maximum number of questions asked from Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. Questions from prominent chapters like Hydrocarbons, Electrochemistry, Equilibrium, and Alcohol, Phenol and Ethers, p-block were asked. Overall, the coverage of the chapters was uniform. Almost all the questions are more or less related to or asked from NCERT only.

JEE Main 2024 April 4 Shift 1 Paper Analysis by Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL)

Overall, NTA followed the same level of difficulty of JEE Main 2024 Session 2 as Session 1. The paper was of moderate level due to the lengthy questions in Maths. In this paper, Physics was on the easier side whereas Chemistry was on the easy to moderate side. Mathematics was moderate to difficult and lengthy with calculative questions.

• Chemistry - The paper was more or less balanced in terms of difficulty level as well as the number of questions from the three sections. Questions from prominent chapters like Chemical Kinetics, Alcohol, Phenol and Ethers, Electrochemistry, and Thermodynamics were asked. P-block chemistry was dominant in the paper. Overall, the coverage of the chapters was uniform. Among the 11th and 12th class topics, there were more questions from the 12th class syllabus. The paper was by and large based on NCERT books.
• Physics - This section was on the easier side and the questions from almost all the chapters were asked. Questions from Modern Physics, Mechanics, Electrostatics and Current electricity were there in the paper. The coverage of the questions was almost equal with more number of questions asked from the 12th class.
• Mathematics - The Mathematics paper was moderate to difficult level. A good number of questions were asked from Calculus. Integer-type questions were lengthy in the paper. Almost all the topics were covered. Questions were both lengthy and calculative which took a lot of time to solve.

• Mathematics - This section was moderate to difficult level. A good number of questions were asked from Vectors and 3D. Integer-type questions were lengthy. Almost all the topics were covered. Questions were both lengthy and tricky which took a lot of time to solve.
• Physics - This section was of moderate level as some good questions were present in the paper. Questions from Modern Physics, Mechanics, Electromagnetism and Current electricity were present in the paper. Current electricity was prominent in the paper. The coverage of the questions was almost equal in the 11th and 12th standard.
• Chemistry - Very few questions in this shift were asked from Physical chemistry. Most of the questions were from Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. Questions from prominent chapters like Hydrocarbons, Coordinate Bonding, coordination compounds and d-block were asked. Overall coverage of the chapters was uniform. Among the 11th and 12th standards, more questions are asked from the 12th class syllabus.

• Mathematics - This section was of a difficult level based on the student’s feedback. Questions from Calculus were dominant in the paper. Questions were also asked from Probability, Vectors, Determinants and Quadratic Equations. Almost all the topics were covered. The quality of the questions was good and the section was a bit lengthy.
• Physics - According to the feedback received from a good number of students, the Physics part was of moderate difficulty. Questions from Gravitation, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Kinematics, Current Electricity, Modern Physics and Magnetism were duly represented in the paper. Most of the questions were asked from the 12th class syllabus. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be an effective strategy to solve the questions.

Almost all the topics were covered. The main thing is questions were both lengthy and tricky which took a lot of time to solve. 
• Physics - This section was of easy to moderately difficult as some good questions were there. Questions from Modern Physics, Mechanics, Electromagnetism and Current electricity were there in the paper. Most of the questions were asked from the XII Class syllabus. 
• Chemistry - This section was moderately difficult. Very few questions in this shift were asked from Physical chemistry. Most of the questions were asked from the Organic Chemistry part. Two to three questions were asked from p-block elements. Questions from prominent chapters like Hydrocarbons, Coordinate Bonding and Aldehyde, Ketone and Carboxylic acids were asked. Overall coverage of the chapters was uniform. Among XI and XII classes, more questions are asked from the 12th class syllabus. The paper was by and large based on NCERT books.

• The overall paper was moderate to easy.
• Maths was lengthy, tricky and also difficult in shift 1.
• Physics was easy and formula-based.
• Chemistry was NCERT-based and easy. Students mentioned that it was of CBSE Board exam level. 
• Most of the questions in Chemistry came from organic chemistry. Physical chemistry was not lengthy. Questions came from metallurgy, ores, d block, bromination, and biomolecule.
• In Mathematics, many questions were asked about vectors, 3D, integration, differential, limits, sequence and series, matrices, and functions.
• In Physics questions came from all topics equally. Semiconductors, Modern Physics, Atomic structure, galvanometer, thermodynamics, and photoelectric effect were asked. Most questions were from the 12th syllabus rather than the 11th syllabus.

• Mathematics - The section was moderate to difficult based on the students’ feedback. Questions from Calculus were dominant followed by Vectors & 3D, Matrices and Determinants. Questions were also asked from Probability and Binomial Theorem in the paper. Almost all the topics were covered. The quality of the questions was good, and the section was a bit lengthy. In comparison to the 11th and 12th class portions, most of the questions were asked from the 12th syllabus only.
• Physics - According to the feedback received from a good number of students, the Physics part was of a moderate to difficult level. Questions from Thermodynamics, Semiconductors, Current Electricity, Modern Physics and Magnetism were duly represented in the paper. Most of the questions were asked from the 12th class syllabus. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be an effective strategy. In comparison to last year's Physics papers, Physics questions were of a good standard in this shift.
• Chemistry - Most of the questions were theoretical with the maximum number of questions asked from Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. Questions from prominent chapters like Hydrocarbons, Structure of Atom, Equilibrium, and Biomolecules were asked. Overall coverage of the chapters was uniform. Almost all the questions are more or less related to or asked from NCERT only.

• Mathematics – This section was of moderate difficulty. Questions were asked from all chapters with emphasis on the chapters of Algebra and Calculus. More than one question was asked from Matrices & Determinants, 3-D Geometry, Vectors and Straight Lines. Other chapters included Permutation & Combination, Complex Numbers, Statistics, Progressions, Quadratic Equations, Function, Limits, Continuity & Differentiability, Application of Derivative, Indefinite Integration clubbed with trigonometry, Definite Integrals, Differential Equations, Area, Straight Line, Circle, Conic Sections with mixed concept questions. The numerical section had lengthy calculations from chapters of Calculus & Coordinate Geometry. A few questions were reported as lengthy and tricky.
• Physics – The Physics section was moderately tough. More weightage was given to Electrostatics. Other chapters included Kinematics, Gravitation, Rotational Motion, SHM, Laws of Motion, Magnetism, Ray Optics, Capacitance, Current Electricity, Modern Physics, Fluids with an assertion reasoning question, and Heat & Thermodynamics. Numerical-based questions were tough and lengthy. A few fact-based questions from class XII chapters of NCERT were also asked. Students felt more weightage given to XII Class chapters.
• Chemistry – This section was easy to moderate. Organic and Inorganic Chemistry were given more weightage compared to Physical Chemistry. Questions asked from Chemical Bonding, Electrochemistry, Mole Concept, Coordination Compounds, p-block elements, Atomic Structure, Chemical Kinetics, General Organic Chemistry, Alcohol, Ether & Phenol, Biomolecules, Amines, Aryl & Alkyl halides.

JEE Main January 27 Shift 2 Paper Analysis

As per the initial reaction of the students, the JEE Main 27 January 2024 Shift 2 exam was easy, and Physics and Chemistry were easy. Maths was lengthy but the questions were easy. There were no questions asked from the deleted syllabus.

• Topics mostly asked in maths are Vector, 3D, functions, straight lines, circles, hyperbola, ellipse, calculus, limit, conic section, matrices, and complex numbers.
• Topics mostly asked in physics are Mechanics, semiconductors, electrostatic, current, rydberg constant, wave, and modern physics.
• Topics mostly asked in chemistry are: In Chemistry most questions were from Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. Inorganic was less. The questions came from D block, electrochemistry. Physical chemistry questions were asked in integer type.

• Mathematics - The section was moderate to difficult just like the Shift-1 paper. Questions from Algebra were dominant in the paper. A good number of questions were asked from Vectors, 3D and Limits, Continuity and Differentiability. Questions from Integration and Matrix and Determinants were there in the paper. • Physics - This section was of moderate to difficult level as some good assertion-reasoning questions were there. Questions from Modern Physics, Work Power and Energy, Fluids and Thermodynamics were there in the paper. Most of the questions were asked from the 12th class syllabus. If somebody has gone through the PYQs of the previous year's papers, he/she will have an upper hand in the paper.
• Chemistry - The section was by and large based on NCERT books. Very few questions in this shift were asked from Organic chemistry. Most of the questions were from the Physical Chemistry part. 2-3 questions were asked from d-block elements. Questions from prominent chapters like Thermodynamics, Bonding Alkyl and Aryl halides were asked. Overall coverage of the chapters was uniform.

Most of the questions were asked from the 11th class syllabus. PYQ were also present in the paper. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be an effective strategy.

Questions from prominent chapters like Chemical Kinetics, Biomolecules, Alcohol, Phenol and Ethers, Thermodynamics and Aldehyde, Ketone and Carboxylic Acids were asked. • The paper was the same as last year, with no change in pattern.

According to the experts, the paper was of easy to moderate level. The Physics section was the easiest, Whereas Chemistry was of easy to moderate levels. Mathematics was moderate. Chemistry was memory based while Maths was calculative but students were able to complete the paper in a given time. Practising a lot of mock tests would be a good strategy for the preparation of this paper.

• Physics: Questions were set from covering all the topics. Students were tested on the simple level of applicability of concepts. Numericals were more in numbers than theoretical questions. Questions were from Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Optics, Magnetism, Modern Physics and other chapters. Those students who have thoroughly covered the syllabus of XI and XII along with sufficient problem-solving through similar types of practice tests will score nicely in this paper.
• Chemistry: The chemistry part was on predicted lines. It was observed by students that the physical portion was less as compared to Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. All the questions from Organic Chemistry were asked in MCQ form. The whole paper was NCERT based. Chemistry in everyday life, GOC, Aldehydes, Ketones and Biomolecules are the chapters from which a significant number of questions were asked. A thorough study of NCERT books, solving NCERT examples and practising through mock tests holds the key to success in this paper.
• Mathematics: Mathematics part was a bit lengthy but moderate. 5 to 6 questions from Calculus were the mainstay of the paper. There were not less than 5 questions from Algebra, 2 questions from Coordinate Geometry and 2 or 3 questions from Trigonometry. According to the experts of FIITJEE, the paper was overall of moderate difficulty. Mathematics was Moderate, Chemistry was Easy to Moderate, and Physics was Easy.

• Mathematics – Moderate Level. Questions were asked from all chapters with an emphasis on Chapters of Algebra & Calculus. Questions asked from Determinants, 3D Geometry, Vectors, Permutation & Combination, Probability, Binomial Theorem, Complex Numbers, Functions, Limits & Continuity, Definite Integrals, Area under Curves, Parabola, Ellipse & Circle. The Numerical Section had lengthy calculations. Few questions in MCQs were reported as lengthy.

Few Numerical based questions were easy. 
• Chemistry –Easy level. Physical Chemistry had more weightage compared to Organic & Inorganic Chemistry.  Weightage was given to Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry &Thermodynamics. Numerical Based questions from Physical Chemistry were easy. Inorganic Chemistry had questions from Ores & Metallurgy and Environmental Chemistry. Organic Chemistry had questions from Phenols, Amines & Biomolecules mostly from NCERT. 

JEE Main July 26 Shift 1 Paper Analysis

A large number of students found this paper to be of a moderate to easy level. There were a few questions with lengthy calculations in the Mathematics section which took more time than usual to answer. Questions covered almost all the chapters from classes XI and XII. A detailed analysis of the paper is given below.

Mathematics

A few students found the Mathematics section difficult as quite a few questions involved lengthy calculations. Adequate importance was given to Calculus & Algebra. About 7Questions from algebra included Chapters of Binomial Theorem, Permutation & Combination sequences and series, as well as complex numbers. There were not less than 7 questions from calculus which included questions from Definite Integral, Differential equation, continuity and differentiability and functions. Questions from Coordinate Geometry were also present in adequate numbers. Three to four questions were from vectors and three-dimensional geometry and 2 from matrices and determinants. Questions generally involved the intertwining of two concepts. To score well on such a paper, a student should practise regularly and solve mock tests.

Physics

The Physics paper was considered to be easy by a large number of students. This paper was quite balanced as questions from class XI and class XII were equally distributed. Some numerical-based questions were involving elaborate calculations. A few students also reported that some questions were a bit tricky. About 6 questions from mechanics, at Atleast 2 from Heat and Thermodynamics, about 3 from electricity and magnetics and a good number of questions from  Modern Physics and Waves and Sound were the mainstays of the physics portion. Students with a thorough understanding of the ‘Concepts of Physics by HC Verma' along with NCERT should be able to score well in this paper. Solving Mock tests as the last leg of preparation is the key to a high score for this section

Chemistry

This paper was of a moderate to easy difficulty level. The distribution of questions from the three branches was nearly equal with a slight edge to organic chemistry. Questions were asked from chapters like Chemistry in Everyday life, Biomolecules& p-block elements. Chapters like Aldehydes, ketones and carboxylic acids and alcohols, phenols and ethers found good representation. Some of the questions from Physical Chemistry were considered difficult by a section of students, and questions from Inorganic Chemistry were of moderate levels As mentioned previously, students with a good understanding of NCERT books should be able to do well in this paper.To conclude, it was an easy to moderate paper that involved a few lengthy calculations here and there. JEE Main June 27 Shift 1 Paper Analysis by Aakash Institute

Mathematics: For a lot of students, the Mathematics part was moderate. AS anticipated, some questions involved calculations. There were 7 to 8 questions from calculus, not less than 6 questions from Algebra and 2 questions from Vectors and 3 Dimensional  and about 5 questions  from

Coordinate Geometry. Regular practice and solving mock tests would be of great help in acing these papers.

Physics: For many students, the Physics paper was also of an easy level. Questions were asked from almost all  chapters - 2 questions from Optics, not less than 5 questions from Mechanics,  2 questions from Thermodynamics and questions from waves and Sound, Semiconductors  and optics among others are worth mentioning

As expected, numerical type questions were more in numbers than theoretical questions and almost all numerical were simple formula-based questions. Practising a sufficient number of similar tests would keep students in good stead.

Chemistry: This paper was easy and NCERT based. Questions from physical, organic and inorganic portions were evenly distributed Whole of the paper was NCERT based. Covering NCERT and its Examples would be the key to scoring good marks. Chapters like Polymers and Chemistry in everyday life, Biomolecules and environmental chemistry besides regular topics found due to representation in the paper.

As per the initial reaction from students who had appeared in the exam, the paper was moderate in difficulty level. Chemistry was the easiest, Mathematics was tough and lengthy while Physics was moderate.

Mathematics- The Mathematics section in JEE Main shift 1 June 25 paper was lengthy and difficult. Many questions were asked from mathematical reasoning, relation & function, matrices & determinants. More questions were asked from the class 12 syllabus than from the class 11 syllabus. 

Physics- As per the students who had appeared in the shift 1 exam, the Physics Paper was NCERT based. Many questions were asked from Rotational Mechanics, Work Energy and Optics. The paper consisted of mostly numerical questions and less theory part.  

Chemistry- Most students who had appeared in the JEE Main shift 1 paper of June 25 found Chemistry to be the easiest of all three subjects. Questions were NCERT based and easy. Many questions were asked from surface chemistry, organic chemistry, Biomolecules and chemistry in everyday life. Inorganic has higher weightage in comparison to physical chemistry and Organic.

As per the JEE Main Today Paper Analysis, the question paper was moderate in difficulty level. Most students who appeared in the exam found the question papers easy to moderate in difficulty level. Many questions were NCERT based.

Most candidates have stated that the Paper 2A was moderate in nature with the difficulty level of the questions falling in mid-range. JEE Main Paper Analysis 1 September 2021 Shift 2

The overall difficulty level of JEE Main 2021 Session 4 Shift 2 paper was moderate. The paper was well set and balanced. It was easiest as compared with the previous JEE Main 2021 sessions. Chemistry was quite straightforward and easy. Physics was a moderate difficulty, maths was a bit difficult. In chemistry, more weightage was given to organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. • Mathematics: Most students found Mathematics tough. This section was time-consuming and lengthy. There were many questions from Algebra. Some of the topics were Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics, 3D, parabola, hyperbola, coordinates, etc.

JEE Main Paper Analysis- August 27 Shift 1

As per the initial reaction from students who appeared in the shift 1 exam, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. Physics was easy in comparison to yesterday paper and was moderate to easy. The chemistry section was easy while Mathematics was moderate with lengthy calculations. Questions in Mathematics were asked from Vector, 3D and Coordinates. In Physics, there were questions from Electrostatistics and Thermodynamics while Organic and Inorganic, Majority NCERT based were asked in Chemistry. A detailed subject-wise analysis is given below-

Chemistry- The paper was by and large based on NCERT books. Six of the numerical based questions were from Physical Chemistry and two from inorganic Chemistry. Overall, the questions from Physical, Organic and Inorganic branches were evenly distributed. A thorough study of the NCERT books, solving NCERT examples and mock tests based on NCERT is the guarantee of success in these types of tests.

Physics- According to a sizeable number of students, the Physics part was moderately difficult of the lot. 5 to 6 questions from Electromagnetics about 8 questions from mechanics, 2 from units and dimensions,4 questions from optics were there in the paper. Other chapters were also included in due proportions. There were a good number of numerical which were largely formula based. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be a better strategy.

Mathematics- Mathematics paper was easy but slightly time taking due to lengthy calculations involved. A few good questions were interspersed sporadically. 7 Questions were asked from Calculus, 5 questions from Coordinate Geometry, 4 from Vectors & 3D and not less than 5 questions from Algebra were there. Almost all the topics were covered. Again, practice through mock tests holds the key.

Overall, it was a balanced paper that can be solved in the stipulated time. The difficulty level wise order is Mathematics > Physics> Chemistry.

JEE Main Shift 2 Analsysis August 26

Shift 2 of JEE Main 26 August 2021 is over. As per the initial reaction from students who appeared in the exam, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate in terms of difficulty. The Chemistry part was, as usual, the easiest with most questions from NCERT. The mathematics part was lengthy while the Physics was moderate to difficult. Physics: Questions from Physics in shift 2 were moderate in difficulty level. There were questions from EM waves, semiconductors and modern Physics. 

Chemistry: In the Chemistry section, more weightage was given to theory-based questions. The majority of the questions were from the Organic part while some questions were also from Inorganic and Physical. 

Mathematics: Questions from Mathematics were lengthy requiring large calculations. Many questions from Maths were difficult.

JEE Main August 26 Shift 1 Paper Analsysis

JEE Main 26 August 2021 shift 1 paper has been concluded. As per the initial student's reaction, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. Check subject-wise weightage of topics for all three subjects.

Physics- Paper was moderate to difficult. 6 questions were asked from Semiconductor. 10-15 questions were formula based. Physics paper was moderate to difficult. Questions were calculative. 6 questions were from Semiconductor and were lengthy. Questions were asked from p-n type doping in Semiconductor. 2 questions were asked from optics.

Chemistry- Most questions were NCERT based. The chemistry section was easy. Most questions were from the Organic and Inorganic parts. Questions were from Phenol and Formaldehyde. Around 4-5 questions were statement based questions. Inorganic, many questions were reaction based.

Mathematics- The mathematics part was difficult and lengthy. 4 questions were asked from Vector and 3D. Questions were also asked from Matrices and Determinants, a system of linear equations, Mathematics Reasoning, Stats and 4 questions from Differential equations. 5 questions from conic sections were asked. 

JEE Main 2021 August 26 Shift 1 Students Reactions

Harjeet: Overall the paper was easy to moderate. Physics was tough but Chemistry and Mathematics were moderate in terms of difficulty. In the Physics section, there were more questions from basic chapters such as measurement and dimensions. Chemistry had equal questions from inorganic and organic sections. 

Tanmay: The paper was moderate. As compared to the previous session, it was easier. Physics was tough and Chemistry has more questions from the inorganic section. Mathematics had balanced questions. 

Udit: Chemistry was easy but Mathematics was tough. Most of the questions were NCERT based. Electricity chapter questions were more in Physics and Mathematics had limits, integration and calculus questions. 

Saurabh: The paper was moderate but lengthy. It had more questions that required calculations. The Chemistry section had more inorganic questions. Maths was tough as usual.

JEE Main July 27 Shift 2 Paper Analysis

As per the initial reaction from students who appeared in the exam, the paper was of moderate difficulty level. Mathematics was the toughest among all three sections while Chemistry was NCERT based. 

Physics- The Physics sections was well balanced. Questions in JEE Main 2021 July 27 shift 2 were asked from Fluids, EMF, Alternating Currents, Semiconductors and Electrostatics topics. 

Chemistry- Students found the chemistry section easy to moderate. All the questions asked in the chemistry section were from NCERT. Some questions were asked from Metallurgy, Coordination compounds, Polymers, Biomolecules topics. 

Mathematics- Most students found the Mathematics section tough and lengthy. 

JEE Main July 27, 2021, Shift 1 Analysis

As per the student's reviews on July 27 JEE Main 2021 exam, most questions were NCERT based. As per the students, those who had fully prepared NCERT, JEE Main July 27 Shift 1 paper would have been easy for them.

• Physics- Questions from semiconductors and communication were asked. Questions in the section were formula-based.
• Chemistry- Questions from polymer, biomolecules, chemistry in everyday life were asked one from each chapter. The weightage of organic chemistry was less in today's JEE Main paper for shift 1.
• Mathematics- Maths was difficult. Questions were asked from Parabola, Hyperbola, Statistics, Curves, among others. 

JEE Main July 27 Shift 1 Paper Students Reaction

Mudit: Overall paper was of moderate level. Mathematics was lengthy but was not very tough. Chemistry and Physics were of moderate level. Physics had questions from Semiconductors and Communication while Chemistry had a balanced number of questions from Inorganic, Organic and Physical.

Vicky: The paper was easy to medium in difficulty level. However, Maths was lengthy and tough. The physics section had questions from Semiconductor. Chemistry had more questions from Organic and less from Physics. For students who are going to attempt the exam, revise NCERT for Chemistry. The maths and Physics section is lengthy so time has to be managed well.

Vijay: The paper was easy to moderate. Compared to Physics and Chemistry, Maths was hard. All of the questions were balanced and most of them were from NCERT.

Aditya: The paper was of moderate level. However, Maths was tough and lengthy. Physics and Chemistry were easy. All of the questions in the sections were well balanced.

Divans: As compared to the February session, this paper was quite tough. Physics was quite complicated and tricky and Chemistry was of moderate level. Mathematics was very lengthy and tough.

JEE Main July 25 Shift 2 Paper Analysis

JEE Main today paper for shift 2 was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. Most students found Mathematics to be comparatively difficult than Physics and Chemistry. In Physics, questions were asked from Kinematics and Semiconductor. Questions from 3D and Vector were asked in Mathematics. Chemistry was mostly NCERT based.

JEE Main 22 July Shift 2 Analysis

JEE Main 22 July 2021 exam conducted was of Moderate Difficulty level with more application-based questions. Students who appeared in the exam can check important points related to JEE Main today paper analysis below:

Mathematics – Moderately to Difficult Level. Weightage was given to chapters of Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, 3D & Vector Algebra. There were questions from Binomial Theorem, Probability & Matrices in Numerical based section. Questions were of moderate level and lengthy. 

Physics – Easy to Moderate level. Questions asked from Gravitation, Current Electricity, Modern Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics. Numerical-based questions had lengthy calculations but were easy. Questions covered all chapters of XI & XII classes. It was a balanced section.

Chemistry - Easy level. Organic Chemistry & Inorganic Chemistry had some tricky questions. Physical Chemistry was only in Integer Type. Overall this section was easy.

JEE Main 2021 July 20 Shift 1 Students Reaction 

Many students have called the difficulty level in line with the previous attempt papers of JEE Main. For today's paper, most students found the physics section to be the hardest. Many questions from Electromagnetism and Rotational motion were also said to be harder. The numerical section of the Mathematics section was said to be hard.

As for the Chemistry paper, most of the students reported it to be easy and largely from NCERT. Questions from Organic and Physical Chemistry were equally difficult. A few questions from Mole Concept were said to have lengthy calculations. But most of the students said that the paper was relatively easy.

According to the students who appeared on February 23, found JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 was moderate as compared to last year. The aspirants who appeared for JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 shared that JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. JEE Main Paper-2 comprised three sections - Aptitude, Mathematics, and Drawing. The exam in total was three hours long with each section being 60 minutes. While the Mathematics section had 25 questions, the Aptitude and Drawing section had 50 and 2 questions respectively. Most of the students found the Mathematics section of the question paper difficult than the rest of the paper and also stated that the questions were the tricky ones in this section.

JEE Main 2018 by Allen Career Institute:

• The paper was NCERT based, which comprised questions with easy, moderate and difficult questions in an equal ratio.
• This year there was no equal distribution of topics.
• There were some topics of which many questions were asked whereas there were some from which not a single question was included. For example, questions were not asked from Carbonyl Compound in Chemistry and Geometrical Optics in Physics.
• The paper included 47 questions from the 12th standard syllabus.
• Whereas 43 questions were asked from the 11th standard syllabus.
• In total questions from 12th standard syllabus comprised 188 marks which included 16 questions of 64 marks, 15 questions of 60 marks and 16 questions of 64 marks.
• While total questions from 11th standard syllabus comprised 172 marks which included 14 questions of 56 marks, 15 questions of 60 marks and 14 questions of 56 marks.
• The paper comprised 30 questions from Chemistry, which carried total 120 marks. It had 5 difficult questions of 20 marks. 10 questions with a moderate difficulty level of 40 marks. Whereas 15 questions were of the easy level, comprising 60 marks.
• Only 2 questions from Maths were difficult which carried 8 marks. The difficulty level of 11 questions was moderate, carrying of 44 marks. While 17 questions were of easy level comprising of 68 marks.
• In Physics only 1 question of 4 marks was difficult.19 questions comprising of 76 marks had a moderate difficulty level. Whereas 10 questions carrying 40 marks were easy.

JEE Main 2018 Exam Analysis by FIITJEE

• There were no changes in the pattern of Paper -1 of JEE (Main) compared to previous years.
• JEE Main 2018, a three-hour exam, comprised 90 questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Each question will be 4 marks. 1/4 marks of total marks per question will be deducted in case of an incorrect answer, whereas no deduction if the question is left un-attempted. • The level of difficulty as per feedback of students:

• Paper – I for BE / BTech courses in 2018 had a similar pattern like the past years 2014 to 2017.
• The Paper was balanced & was set from the CBSE syllabus of Class XI & XII, however as expected many of the questions were conceptual with some needing analytical skills.
• Prima facie 20 questions were easy; 55 questions appeared to be of moderate difficulty & 15 questions were relatively difficult.
• In our opinion a Student who attempted the paper with a cool head, he could attempt the complete paper.
• Overall difficulty level for the paper was like previous years however Chemistry was slightly tougher than last year.
• A student who was focused & serious all through the two years in improving speed & accuracy by taking regular quizzes & mock tests on JEE Main pattern, would do reasonably well.
• It is always a relative performance, which matters in such competitive examinations.
