JEE Main 2025 Dates: The National Testing Agency has announced the JEE Main 2025 exam date session 1, 2 and JEE Main 2025 Registration Date session 1, 2. The JEE Main 2025 exam date session 1 is January 22 to 31, 2025 while the second attempt will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025. Candidates can check the JEE 2025 dates on this page and the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. JEE Main 2025 Registration date session 1 is October 28 to November 22, 2024 while the session 2 application form will be available from January 31 to February 22, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 application form correction was available from November 26 to 27, 2024.

Q:   In how many shifts JEE Main exam is conducted?

A:

JEE Main exam is conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift is conducted from 9 am to 12 noon while the second shift is held from 3 pm to 5 pm. The exam is conducted over a period of 5-6 days. In total JEE Main have a total 10-12 shifts per session. Students in each session get different set of question paper. The paper will be of 3 hours duration.

Q:   What is the timing and duration of JEE Main exam?

A:

The duration of JEE Main exam is 3 hours or 180 minutes. Candidates who fall under PwD category are given 4 hours to complete the exam as they are provided 20 minute extra for every one hour. Students who opts to appear in Paper 2A (BArch) and Paper 2B (BPlan) both will be provided 3.5 hours. 

JEE Mains exam is held in morning and evening session. The timing of morning session is 9 am to 12 noon and for evening session the timing is 3 pm to 6 pm. Each day exam is held in two session.

The second session registration will star from January 31 and will remain open till February 24, 2025. JEE Main 2025 Form Correction Date

NTA started the facility to make corrections in JEE Main Application 2025 on November 26, 2024 to modify any incorrect details in the filled application forms. Candidates were allowed to make corrections for a specified duration. The last date to correct the filled application form was November 27, 2024. Candidates who wish to change the information in the application form or modify any details can use the JEE Main form correction facility to make the changes/modifications. The JEE Main image correction window will also be provided separately, beside the application correction facility.

JEE Main City Intimation Slip Date 2025

NTA will release the JEE Main exam city intimation slip 2025 before the release of the admit cards. JEE Main Exam city slips are made available for download separately for BArch, BPlan and BTech aspirants. The city intimation slip mentions details of the exam date and exam city of the candidate. Candidates must note that the exam city slip is different from admit card. NTA will release JEE Mains admit card 2025 separately after the release of the exam city intimation slip.

JEE Main 2025 Admit Card Date

NTA will release the admit card for JEE Main 2025 around 3-4 days before the exam. For the session 1 exam, JEE Mains 2025 admit card will be released in the last week of January tentatively. The admit cards for the session 2 exam will be released in the first week of April.

Admit cards will be issued to all the registered candidates who complete the registration, application and application fees payment within the last date. Candidates have to download their admit card from the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Q:   When will NTA release JEE Main 2025 admit card?

NTA will release the JEE Main Admit card 2025 around 2-3 days before the exam. JEE Main 2025 admit card will be available on the NTA official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. JEE Main 2025 Answer Key Date

The answer key will be released within 2-3 days of the conclusion of the exam. NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 answer key session 1 tentatively in the first week of February. Similarly for session 2, JEE Mains answer key 2025 will be available in the second week of April. To download the answer key, candidates will need to login to the website using their application number and date of birth/password.

JEE Main 2025 Result Date

NTA will release the JEE Mains result 2025 session 1 in the second week of February. For session 2, the results will be announced by the third week of April.

JEE Main 2025 result will be released online on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates will need to login to the website using their application number and date of birth/password. The copy of candidate scorecard will have details about percentile score of all the subjects and aggregate percentile score. The details of All India Rank and JEE Main cutoff will be available in the JEE Main result 2025 session 2.

JEE Main 2025 Counselling Date

The Joint Seat Allocation authority (JoSAA) will conduct the JEE Main 2025 counselling in June for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The schedule of counselling will be announced in April.

The counselling will be conducted in online mode. To participate in counselling, candidates have to register in the JoSAA portal and fill choices of their preferred colleges and courses. Candidates with scores of JEE Main will eligible for BTech admission to NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs. Candidates who qualifies JEE Advanced will be eligible for admission to IITs.

Interested candidates will be able to apply from the official website. JEE Main 2024 registration last date will be last week of December or January first week. As the exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release separate application forms for both the sessions.
