Q: Â In how many shifts JEE Main exam is conducted?
JEE Main exam is conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift is conducted from 9 am to 12 noon while the second shift is held from 3 pm to 5 pm. The exam is conducted over a period of 5-6 days. In total JEE Main have a total 10-12 shifts per session. Students in each session get different set of question paper. The paper will be of 3 hours duration.

The Joint Seat Allocation authority (JoSAA) will conduct the JEE Main 2025 counselling in June for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The schedule of counselling will be announced in April.
The counselling will be conducted in online mode. To participate in counselling, candidates have to register in the JoSAA portal and fill choices of their preferred colleges and courses.
