VITEEE 2025 syllabus has been released online at viteee.vit.ac.in. The list of subjects, units and topics that need to be studied for the upcoming entrance examination is available through the VITEEE syllabus 2025. According to the VIT 2025 syllabus, the subjects that the candidates will have to study for the exam are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English. For BPharma admissions, the candidates will have to study Biology instead of Mathematics. It is to be noted that the level of the VITEEE syllabus is similar to the 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination level. All candidates are advised to check the VITEEE 2025 syllabus carefully before starting their preparation process. VITEEE 2025 syllabus has been released online by the authorities. The subjects and topics that have to be studied for the entrance examination constitute the VITEEE syllabus 2025. Candidates will have to study 10+2th standard topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Aptitude and English for the entrance examination. For Biotechnology candidates, the VIT 2025 syllabus will also consist of the topics from Biology. VITEEE syllabus is provided by the official authorities at vit.ac.in. The syllabus included topics of Physics Chemistry Mathematics, English and Aptitude. While studying for the examination, the candidates were expected to finish all of the syllabus mentioned by the VIT authorities. However, to boost the chances of scoring higher, the candidates could also study a few extra chapters from other books.

Chapter-wise weightage for VITEEE: Physics

Even though VIT does not release Chapter wise weightage for Physics in VITEEE, candidates who appeared for the exam last year share that the weightage of Class in the exam was around 60%. Topics like Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Modern Physics, EMI, Electrostatics, Magnetic Effects etc. are given weightage in the VITEEE Physics section.

Chapter-wise weightage for VITEEE: Chemistry

Most of the VITEEE candidates we spoke to shared that NCERT's Chemistry book is critically important to score well in the exam. A good amount of questions are asked from Physical Chemistry while Organic Chemistry is given a good amount of weightage and is an important section in the exam. Questions in Organic Chemistry are from Class 12th. A few questions from Inorganic Chemistry too were asked in VITEEE in the past. Please note that VIT does not release chapter-wise weightage for VITEEE.

Definition, range, domain, principal value branch, graphs of inverse trigonometric functions and their elementary properties. Analytical Geometry of two dimensions

Definition of a conic – general equation of a conic, classification with respect to the general equation of a conic, classification of conics with respect to eccentricity. Analytical Geometry of Three Dimensions

Direction cosines – direction ratios - equation of a straight line passing through a given point and parallel to a given line, passing through two given points, the angle between two lines. Planes – equation of a plane, passing through a given point and perpendicular to a line, given the distance from the origin and unit normal, passing through a given point and parallel to two given lines, passing through two given points and parallel to a given line, passing through three given non-collinear points, passing through the line of intersection of two given planes, the distance between a point and a plane, the plane which contains two given lines (co-planar lines), angle between a line and a plane. Skew lines - the shortest distance between two lines, condition for two lines to intersect, point of intersection, collinearity of three points. 2 Sphere – equation of the sphere whose centre and radius are given, equation of a sphere when the extremities of the diameter are given.

Differential Calculus

Limits, continuity and differentiability of functions - Derivative is a rate of change, velocity, acceleration, and related rates, and derivative as a measure of slope, tangent, normal and angle between curves. Mean value theorem - Rolle’s Theorem, Lagrange Mean Value Theorem, Taylor’s and Maclaurin’s series, L’ Hospital’s Rule, stationary points, increasing, decreasing, maxima, minima, concavity, convexity and points of inflexion. Errors and approximations – absolute, relative, percentage errors - curve tracing, partial derivatives, Euler’s theorem.

Integral Calculus and its Applications

Simple definite integrals – fundamental theorems of calculus, properties of definite integrals. Reduction formulae – reduction formulae for x dx n sin and x dx n cos, Bernoulli’s formula. Area of bounded regions, length of the curve.

Differential Equations

According to students, more weightage in the exam is given to topics like Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Vector Algebra, Differentiation etc. Like other sections, VIT does not release chapter-wise weightage for Mathematics in VITEEE.

Cell and Molecular Biology

Cell theory. Prokaryotic cell and it’s ultrastructure. Hello, VITEEE is a medium level exam which will seem like a toughie (not to a great degree but to some extent) to guys preparing for, say, MH-CET but will be an easy ride for someone preparing for JEE Advanced or even JEE Mains for that matter. Cracking it needs a lot of hard work and patience and understanding of the exam. We recommend you go through the sample papers for your sake. An aspirant could face a problem with the number of questions in the exam. In line with many exams like BITSAT, the number of questions with respect to the time allotted, three hours that is, can be slightly exhausting. Be prepared for solving questions real quick. As it happens, since the question quality isnt likely to give you a cold sweat, the number of questions is not as daunting as it seems. The best piece of advice that I can give with respect to the preparation is: study sincerely for your boards. Now, if you are preparing for any of the JEEs or even BITSAT then VITEEE have almost the same syllabus as them. Its just the exam pattern that you need to get used to.
