Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost everyone is getting placed, average package will be like 10 LPA, and the highest package is 1 crore, many tier 1 companies are coming to our college like PhonePe, Amazon, etc., Full-stack web development roles, software development roles, data analytics roles, etc.
Infrastructure: The course/department facilities include air-conditioned labs, modern classrooms, a well-stocked library, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. Hostels are clean and maintained well, though food is average. 24/7 medical facilities are available, and there are ample sports and game facilities.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. We have a first-come, first-served (FCFS) system for choosing faculty, ensuring students can select based on preference. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry roles. Semester exams can be tough but manageable if students attend classes regularly. The pass percentage is decent, reflecting a balanced level of exam difficulty.
Other: I am very interested in technology and stuff, that's why I chose this course. We have events like Vitapp and Vitopia every year, and every Saturday we will have some cultural events.

Great infrastructure, seems to be a home away from home.
Placements: Good companies come to college to hire students with a decent package. College is very supportive in terms of placement and helping students to be hired. College trains students before facing interviews and coding rounds. Moreover, in terms of placement, then college is good.
Infrastructure: There are 1,2,3,4,6,8 bed types in the hostel. There are apartment-type, non-apartment-type, and regular-type blocks. Wi-Fi , labs , classrooms, and libraries are very nice. There is a night library also provided for students. Wi-Fi is available for students till 12:30 at night.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated, qualified, and talented. Facilities teach very nicely. Here, we have to choose faculties, subjects, and timings accordingly for each semester. Here, continuous assessment tests 1, 2, and final assessment tests are taken for theory papers, and one final assessment test is taken for lab exams, and 5 to 6 assessments are taken for the lab component.
Other: 150 + clubs are there. Time to time, clubs conduct events on social, educational, and all aspects of society topics.

Review of Vellore Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement percentage is nearly 95%. The highest package is 1.02 crores. The lowest package is not defined by college communities. The top recruiting companies are De Shaw, JP Morgan, Nokia, TCS and many more. There are some specific for internships, so almost everyone has to do an internship.
Infrastructure: Our college and hostels are far better in terms of infrastructure. Cleanliness is well maintained. Qualities of roads inside the campus are quite good. Sports facilities like badminton court, basketball court, swimming pool, football ground are in good condition. Speed of Wi-Fi is a bit less in hostels while we can only access the college website inside labs. Mess food is not good. Medical facilities are average.
Faculty: Regarding faculty members, some of the faculty members are very excellent. They help genuinely to students, while we have to suffer and struggle a lot in some subjects. Curriculum is well designed. If one studies following in a perfect order he/she can be industry ready. Level of difficulty in exams is not that much high, but the problem is this college takes exams in every 1-1.5 months.

VIT Vellore is the dream college.
Placements: Almost all the students get placed, maybe in lower salaries. Almost all companies visit the campus. All MNC visits, TCS is the top recruiter, and internship is compulsory from 2nd year. In the second year, we have to do a paid internship and in the fourth year, we have to do a six-month internship.
Infrastructure: All kinds of facilities are available. WiFi is available throughout the campus; all the computer labs are hi-tech; and there are many research labs available. Hostel food is not that good but not as bad as at other colleges. It's edible. There is a hospital inside the campus. 24x7 ambulance facilities are there.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very helpful. Some teachers are not good but here I found some of the best teachers in my life. They really help a lot. The exams are quite difficult. If any student get low marks, they have to attend extra class for the next exam.
Other: It was my dream to take CSE. There is a largest fest called RIVIERA; it's a 3-day fest. Many scholarships are available.

From the perspective of an average VIT student.
Placements: The placement scene is good, especially if you're from CSE or IT. However, I would recommend maintaining a CGPA of 8.5+ if you're aiming for companies offering 15+ LPA. The overall average placement at VIT is 8.5, but for CSE, it goes above 12 LPA. Achieving a 20+ LPA package requires hard work due to the high level of competition.
Infrastructure: VIT's infrastructure is excellent, providing all the necessary amenities. Hostel options range from single-bedded to eight-bedded, although they are a bit expensive compared to other colleges. The Wi-Fi speed is good, but it's turned off after 12:30 p.m. The mess is satisfactory, and there are various sports facilities available.
Faculty: The faculty at VIT is well-qualified and has good teaching experience. The curriculum is rigorous, leaving little time for extracurricular activities. Semester exams, comprising CAT1, CAT2, and FAT, along with two quizzes and one assignment, are not overly challenging.

VITEE exam is not so tough as compared to JEE. So, you may crack it with the same preparation of class 12th. And the beneficial point will be that there is no negative marking so you may attempt the questions too when you are not pretty sure.
