Plan a proper timetable

Next, the candidates should carefully prepare a study timetable so that they can divide their study time effectively to complete the syllabus on time. The main objective should be to have enough time left before the exam for revision. To avoid random or weekend preparation sessions, the candidates should maintain a strict study routine. The daily study routine should consist of topics from every subject so that the studying process does not feel monotonous. Consistency is the important key here. The sections should be divided as per the time in hand and study hours should be planned accordingly.

Focus on the basics

Candidates are advised to focus on their basics. If the basic concepts are not clear, then the candidates will not be able to fully understand the topics and be prepared to answer any question related. The candidates should understand the principles behind questions asked in the test and solve questions involving these topics. If the basics are strong enough, studying each subject will be easier and more interesting.

Daily Study Routine

Candidates should ensure to study every day equally so that they do not depend on last minute studies. By having a long-term study plan, the candidates will be able to prepare well for the exam and have higher chances of securing the marks they require for admission into their preferred course and college.

Practice with sample papers

An essential part of preparation is to practice with the previous years’ WBJEE question papers. The candidates must practice as many sample papers as they can to know the weightage of topics from each subject and also they will be able to find out their weak areas and put the focus on them for improvement.

Revise what you have studied

Revision is an essential part of the exam preparation process. After completing each topic from the syllabus of WBJEE 2025, the candidates are advised to keep at least one month or two for revision. However, they are advised not to spend much time on it as it might affect their preparation. Also, the candidates should take help from the short notes that they made during preparation.

Avoid adding new topics at the last minute of preparation

In the last lap of preparation, the candidates should avoid taking any new topics from any subject. This will create chaos and further confusion. Rather, it is advised to dedicate the time to revise the units, topics and that they have already studied so far. In the last week, the candidates should be determined and very subjective in terms of the syllabus to be revised. They should study only those topics, that are weak and need improvement.
