AAU VET 2021 Syllabus for Botany Section
The previous year's question paper had section with 50 marks and, the below mentioned topics:
- Morphology of root, stem and leaf and their modifications,
- Flower, inflorescence, seed and fruits,
- Development of male and female gametophytes, pollination, fertilization and development of an embryo,
- Germination, growth and development,
- Cell and cellular functions, tissues, the anatomy of root, stem and leaf of both monocot and dicots, secondary growth,
- Elementary study of Plant Physiology,
- Plant taxonomy and elementary study of families,
- Classification of the plant kingdom,
- Natural resources and their conservation,
- Plant tissue culture, biotechnology and its applications
AAU VET 2021 Syllabus for Zoology Section
Last year's question paper has section with 50 marks and, the main topics for this section were:
- Animal Kingdoms,
- Biodiversity,
- Physiology of animals with emphasis on Human,
- Embryology of human,
- Cell and cell division,
- Mendelism, sex determination, sex-linked inheritance, genetic disorders and polyploidy,
- Biological molecules including carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids
