IBPS 2024 Application Form: Apply Online for IBPS PO & SO Exam

The application fee for IBPS RRB exam is INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. Applicants need to pay the application fee online only. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. After final submission, an additional page of the online application form is displayed wherein candidates may follow the instructions and fill in the requisite details. If the online transaction is not successfully completed then candidates are advised to login again with their provisional registration number and password and pay the application fees/intimation charges online. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt is generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form
containing fee details. 

It is generally not advisable to provide false or misleading information on any official application form, including the IBPS PO application form. If the date of passing entered on the form is different from the real one, it could potentially be considered as providing false information and could lead to disqualification from the application process. Applicants must cross check the information before submitting their application forms. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are not eligible to appear for the exam. Candidates need to submit proper document against their educational qualification at the time of the interview. The date of passing the eligibility examination is the date appearing on the mark-sheet or provisional certificate issued by University/Institute.

The steps to fill IBPS Clerk application form using smartphones are given below:

• Visit the official website
• Click on the application form link
• Candidates receive a message, 'The website is viewable only in landscape mode'
• Switch to 'Desktop site'
• The option to change the site is available in the browser
• Candidates can also set their screens in auto-rotation mode
• This enables the landscape mode
• The application forms appear the same as they appear on desktop
• Fill and submit the application forms

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)

The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink

IBPS PO exam pattern highlights the overall structure of the exam such as marking scheme, total marks, time duration, etc. IBPS PO exam pattern is such that it is divided into prelims exam, Mainsexam and interview. IBPS PO prelims exam comprises three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. There are sectional timings in the exam. IBPS POMainsexam comprises both objective and descriptive-type questions. The total marks allotted to theMainsexam are 225. The duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes. The total marks allotted to the interview are 100.

IBPS Clerk exam pattern is such that it comprises prelims and Mains exams. The both the stages of exams are conducted online. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The prelims exam comprises three sections and carries 100 marks. The Mains exam comprises four sections and carries 200 marks. The structure of the IBPS Clerk prelims and mains exams is given below.

Editing of the IBPS RRB application form is not allowed after final submission. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the 'save and next' facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Candidates need to fill the application form online only. Candidates are not required to sent the hard copy of their application forms to the examination authority.

The IBPS PO admit card typically includes a sample handwriting section for you to use as a reference when filling out your handwriting test. The sample handwriting is usually a few lines of text written in both capital and lowercase letters. It is intended to serve as a guide for the handwriting test, which is used to evaluate your writing skills and ensure that your handwriting is legible and easy to read. Candidates need to download their admit cards online. To download IBPS PO admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. IBPS PO admit card is an important document without which candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates should keep their admit cards safely till the completion of selection process.

IBPS Clerk handwritten declaration is a text which candidates need to upload while filling the application form. By uploading the handwritten declaration, candidates declare that the details provided in the application form are correct and valid. The text for the handwritten declaration is given below: The text for the handwritten declaration I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declares that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. Applicants need to write the IBPS Clerk handwritten declaration in English on white paper with black ink. The file of handwritten declaration should be in jpg/jpeg. The dimensions should be 800x400 pixels in 200 DPI. The file size should be 50 kb to 100 kb.

Final-year students cannot apply for the IBPS Clerk Exam. Candidates need to have graduation mark sheet on the date of application. As per the notification, the minimum qualification require candidates to have a graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university. Candidates between 20 and 28 Years can apply for the IBPS Clerk post. There are certain age relaxations given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. As per the official notification, Candidates belonging to some category are given age relaxation like SC/ST (predetermined caste/predetermined tribe) 5 years, OBC (another backward classes-non-cream tier) 3 years, Disabled (PwD) 10 years Former service staff, including Emergency Situation Officer (ECO)/Short Service Officer (SSCO). 

They participating banks do not look for any Computer Certificate. Only basic level questions are asked in the paper. Candidates need to prepare such questions. The banks provide training for basic skills after candidates get selected. But while filling form, candidates need to enter their knowledge of computer. MS office Certificate is enough to apply for IBPS Clerk exam. The eligibility criteria prescribed for IBPS Clerk exam is between 20 and 28 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Candidates who have completed graduation can apply for the exam. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for the exam. Candidates must have proficiency in the official language of the state/UT for which vacancies they wish to apply.

IBPS RRB eligibility criteria is prescribed by the examination authority separately for different posts. The basic educational qualification for IBPS RRB exam is graduation. However, the educational qualification vary post-wise. The post-wise age limit for IBPS RRB exam is given below:

For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years-Below 40 years i.e. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- II (Manager): Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive)
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive)

The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

The educational qualification for IBPS Clerk is Graduation. Final year candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates must have an operating and working knowledge of computers. They must have either a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language or have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute. Candidates must have proficiency in the Official Language of the State/ UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/ UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply for is preferable. Candidates must meet the educational qualification fixed by the examination authority for appearing in the exam.
