Candidates can check below the exam day guidelines for IBPS exam:
- Candidates need to carry the printed copy of the admit card along with one photo-identity proof
- The admit card for the prelims exam is not collected at the exam centre. Candidates need to bring the prelims admit card and authenticated photo identity proof along with the Mains admit card while appearing for the Mains exam
- Candidates should report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the admit card
- Rough sheets are kept at the desk of each candidate. No additional sheets are provided during the exam
- Candidate must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue while leaving
- Candidates need to paste the recent coloured passport-size photograph at the allotted space in the admit card
- Candidates need to mention their name, roll number, registration number and signature on the photocopy of the ID proof
- Any stationery item such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
- Any communication device such as mobile phone, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
- Other items such as goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, any watch/wristwatch, camera, any metallic item, eatable item opened or packed, water bottle (only transparent water bottle is allowed), etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
- Candidates are advised to avoid wearing ornaments such as ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, etc.

In the IBPS PO exam, biometric date (Right thumb impression) will be captured twice at the examination venue i.e. before the start of exam and after completion of exam. The guidelines related to biometric verification are given below:
- If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured.etc..), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam day
- If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger print (biometric) is captured
- Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them
- If the primary finger (Right thumb) to be captured is injured/damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in
the test centre

Q: When should I reach IBPS PO exam centre?
You should reach the IBPS PO exam centre early before the reporting time to complete the verification process. After you are given entry to the exam hall, you need to sit on the allotted system. After that, you need to login with the password as mentioned on the IBPS PO admit card. Before beginning with the test, you should read the instructions catefully. You are also supposed to write the handwriting sample. All the questions comprises multiple choices. Out of the five answers, only one is the correct answer.
