IBPS PO admit card is released online. The steps to download the admit card are given below:

• Visit the official website of IBPS
• Click the link ‘IBPS PO admit card ’ on the home page
• Enter the login credentials, registration number or roll number, and date of birth or password
• The admit card appears on the screen
•  Download the admit card and take its printout

A total of 11 public sector banks participate in the recruitment process of IBPS Clerk. The list of participating banks is given below 1) Bank of Baroda 2)Canara Bank 3) Indian Overseas Bank 4) UCO Bank 5)Bank of India 6) Central Bank of India 7) Punjab National Bank 8)Union Bank of India 9) Bank of Maharashtra 10) Indian Bank 11) PSB The selection process of IBPS Clerk comprises prelims and mains exams. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the merit list. The marks obtained in the mains exam are counted for the merit list. The prelims and mains exams are conducted online. The selection process is carried out by IBPS. However, joining letters and verification of eligibility is done by the participating banks.

IBPS PO prelims exam is conducted in four shifts -9 am to 10 am, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 5 pm. IBPS PO Mains exam is conducted in two shifts- 9 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The shift timings of the prelims and Mains exams are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per their shift timings. Candidates reporting late to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The IBPS admit card is a mandatory document that needs to be carried at the IBPS exam centre on the day of the exam. No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall without the exam centres. The candidates need to carry other documents along with the IBPS admit card to the exam centre. The list of the documents has been given below for the candidates:

• Two passport size photograph 
• Valid photo Identity proof

Candidates need to carry the following photo-identity proofs along with IBPS admit card for verification purposes.

• Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar card with a photograph
• PAN Card
• Permanent Driving License
• Voter’s Card
• Bank passbook
• Photo-identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer/People’s Representative along with a photograph
• Identity card issued by a recognised college/university

Note: Ration cards and Learner’s Driving Licenses are not accepted as photo-identity proof.

Candidates can check below the exam day guidelines for IBPS exam:

• Candidates need to carry the printed copy of the admit card along with one photo-identity proof
• The admit card for the prelims exam is not collected at the exam centre. Candidates need to bring the prelims admit card and authenticated photo identity proof along with the Mains admit card while appearing for the Mains exam
• Candidates should report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the admit card
• Rough sheets are kept at the desk of each candidate. No additional sheets are provided during the exam
• Candidate must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue while leaving
• Candidates need to paste the recent coloured passport-size photograph at the allotted space in the admit card
• Candidates need to mention their name, roll number, registration number and signature on the photocopy of the ID proof
• Any stationery item such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
• Any communication device such as mobile phone, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
• Other items such as goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, any watch/wristwatch, camera, any metallic item, eatable item opened or packed, water bottle (only transparent water bottle is allowed), etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
• Candidates are advised to avoid wearing ornaments such as ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, etc.

In the IBPS PO exam, biometric date (Right thumb impression) will be captured twice at the examination venue i.e. before the start of exam and after completion of exam. The guidelines related to biometric verification are given below:

• If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured.etc..), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam day
• If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger print (biometric) is captured
• Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them
• If the primary finger (Right thumb) to be captured is injured/damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in
  the test centre

You should reach the IBPS PO exam centre early before the reporting time to complete the verification process. After you are given entry to the exam hall, you need to sit on the allotted system. After that, you need to login with the password as mentioned on the IBPS PO admit card. Before beginning with the test, you should read the instructions catefully. You are also supposed to write the handwriting sample. All the questions comprises multiple choices. Out of the five answers, only one is the correct answer. You have to select the most appropriate answer and ‘mouse click’ that alternative which you feel is appropriate/correct. The alternative/ option that you have clicked on will be treated as your answer to that question. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by you. For every wrong answer marked by you, 1/4 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

• For English Language, candidates can focus on the topics such as reading comprehension, cloze test, fillers, spotting errors, etc. Candidates can improve their comprehension by reading newspapers
• For Reasoning Ability section, candidates must practice more questions on the topics such as puzzles, inequalities, syllogism, coding decoding, blood relations, seating arrangements
• For Numerical Ability section, candidates must practice a variety of questions on different topics including simplification, number series, data interpretation, and quadratic equations.
• Candidates must attempt mock tests inorder to identify the strengths and weaknesses
• Candidates must focus on the important topics that carry higher weightage

IBPS PO syllabus is different for prelims and Mains exams. The syllabus for the prelims exam includes topics from Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning and English . The syllabus for the Mains exam includes topics from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude & General Awareness as well as the topics for Letter Writing and Essay for the descriptive paper.
