IBPS RRB Clerk prelims exam will be conducted on August 30, September 6 and 7, 2025. IBPS RRB PO prelims exam will be conducted on July 27, August 2 and 3, 2025. IBPS RRB single online exam and Mains exam for Officers Scale 2 & 3 and PO posts will be conducted on September 13, 2025. IBPS RRB Clerk Mains exam will be conducted on November 9, 2025. 

The prelims exam for IBPS Clerk  (Customer Service Associates) will be conducted on December 6, 7, 13 and 14, 2025. The Mains exam for this post will be conducted on February 1, 2026. The examination authority has renamed the post of Clerks to Customer Service Associates. 

The prelims exam for IBPS PO 2025 will be conducted on October 4, 5 and 11, 2025. The Mains exam will be conducted on November 29, 2025. The selection process of IBPS PO comprises prelims exam, Mains exam and interview. 

The prelims exam for IBPS SO 2025 will be conducted on November 22 and 23, 2025. The Mains exam for IBPS SO 2025 will be conducted on January 4, 2026. 

IBPS Clerk cannot be internally recruited as a Probationary Officer since POs are directly recruited. However, clerks can shift to the officer cadre as TOs (Trainee Officers) or JMGS-1 (Junior Management Grade Officer Scale -1). Candidates are directly recruited as Clerks and Officers, after their respective exams and interviews.

Yes, candidates selected for the post of IBPS PO will be on probation for two years. During probation, the performance of candidates is assessed. They need to undergo training in the various branches. On successful completion of training, candidates are confirmed to the position of Probationary Officers. During the probation period, candidates are trained on various banking services. They are also required to undergo certain banking courses. The pay scale of candidates is INR 23,700-(980 x 7) -30,560-(1145 x 2)-32850-(1310 x 7)-42,020. The basic salary of IBPS PO is INR 36,000. Besides the salary, candidates are also entitled to various perks and benefits.

IBPS Clerk exam is conducted for recruitment to the post of Clerks in the 11 participating banks. This is one of most sought-after banking exams in the country. The selection process of IBPS Clerk comprises prelims andMainsexams. The exam is conducted every year wherein large number of candidates appear in the exam. In 2022-23, a total of 6.95Lacscandidates had registered for the exam. Out of which, 4.91Lacscandidates had appeared for the exam. The public sector banks in India offer lucrative salaries to Clerical cadre posts along with various perks, incentives and benefits. Therefore, the in-hand salary of an IBPS Clerk may range between INR 28,000 to 30,000 per month. The following allowances are offered to IBPS Clerk: Dearness Allowance: This component is 4 per cent of the Basic Pay. DA depends on the CPI and is revised after every three months. House Rent Allowance: The HRA is dependent on the location of the posting. It is 8.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for Metro Cities, 7.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for cities having a population of more than 5 Lacs, and 6.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for other cities. Travel Allowance: The official tours and travels will be reimbursed by the bank. Medical Allowance: For IBPS Clerks, the amount is fixed at INR 2000. Medical allowance is provided once in a year. Special Allowance: For IBPS Clerk this amount is fixed at INR 4118.

IBPS PO pay scale is INR 23700 - (980 / 7) - 30560 - (1145 / 2) - 32850 - (1310 / 7) – 42020, including INR 980 is the annual increment that will add up to the basic salary, and it will be applicable for 7 years. The basic salary after 7 Years is INR 30,560. Also, the basic IBPS PO salary after 7 + 2 Years is INR 32,850 and the basic salary after 7 + 2 + 7 Years is INR 42,020. (as per the 10th Bipartite settlement). The basic IBPS PO salary is INR 36,000. Besides, candidates get other allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and Special Allowances are also there.
