IBPS SO Exam Centres 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will release the list of IBPS SO test cities for prelims, mains and interview. There will be multiple IBPS SO exam centres in a particular city. Candidates are required to select one city each for prelims and mains exams. Candidates will be allotted to one of the IBPS SO exam centre in the city chosen by them. The details regarding IBPS SO exam centres will be mentioned on the admit card. IBPS also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any IBPS SO centre other than the one he/she has opted for. In this article, we have provided the names of the test cities for IBPS SO prelims and mains exams.

IBPS SO Exam Centres 2024: Important Points

Candidates can check below a few important points related to IBPS SO exam centres:

  • IBPS SO prelims and mains exam will be conducted online in venues across many exam centres in the country
  • No request for the change of IBPS SO exam centres will be entertained 
  • IBPS reserves the right to cancel any of the IBPS SO exam centre and/or add some other centres at their discretion depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
  • IBPS also reserves the right to allot the candidates to any IBPS SP exam centre other than the one opted by candidates
  • Candidates need to appear for the exam at their own expense

IBPS SO Exam Day Guidelines 2024

Candidates can check below the exam day guidelines released for IBPS SO exam:

  • Candidates need to bring the printed copy of IBPS SO admit card to the exam centre along with one original and photocopy of the identity proof
  • In view of the COVID-19 situation, different reporting times will be printed for a set of candidates. They need to report much before the reporting time avoid overcrowding
  • Candidates must report atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on IBPS SO admit card
  • Wearing a mask is compulsory
  • Candidates are also allowed to carry a personal hand sanitiser of 50 ml
  • Candidates can carry personal transparent water bottle and a ballpoint pen
  • The temperature of candidates will be checked through thermo gun
  • Candidate registration will be done through photo capture
  • Rough sheets will be kept at each candidate's desk 
  • IBPS SO prelims admit card will not be collected at the exam centre. However, it will be duly authenticated/stamped by the exam centre staff. Candidates will need to retain the call letter (along with authenticated/ stamped copy of the ID proof) safely. The same should be brought while appearing in the mains exam.
  • Candidates need to bring one additional photograph (same as pastes by the candidates on call letter) 
  • Candidates need to affix one photograph on the admit card and bring one photograph along with the call letter

IBPS SO 2024 exam dates were announced. IBPS SO 2024 prelims exam was conducted on November 9, 2024. The Mains exam for IBPS SO will be conducted on December 14, 2024. Selection of candidates is done in three phases-prelims, mains, and personal interview.  IBPS SO exam is conducted to recruite candidates for various posts such as Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, IT Officer, Law Officer, and Rajbhasha Adhikari.

To appear for IBPS SO exam, candidates are not provided any travelling allowance. Candidates need to appear for the exam at their own cost.
