IBPS SO 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announced IBPS SO 2024 result for prelims exam. The exam was conducted on November 9, 2024.Candidates qualifying the prelims exam will appear for the mains exam. IBPS SO admit card 2024 for the mains exam will be released soon. Candidates can check their results by logging with the required credentials. The Mains exam for IBPS SO will be conducted on December 14, 2024. 

The detailed IBPS SO 2024 notification was released on August 1, 2024. The short IBPS SO notification 2024 was published on July 29, 2024. IBPS SO application form 2024 was available from August 1 to 28, 2024 to fill up a total of 896 vacancies. The application deadline was extended. IBPS SO exam dates 2024 were announced along with the notification. The mains exam for IBPS SO will be conducted on December 14, 2024. Through IBPS SO recruitment, candidates are selected for the following posts:

Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility conditions in terms of nationality, age, and educational qualification to be eligible for the IBPS SO exam:

Nationality/Citizenship

Candidates who are citizens of India/subjects of Nepal/ Bhutan/Tibetan Refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, are eligible for the exam. Besides, those who are Indian by origin and migrated from Pakistan/ Burma/ Sri Lanka/ Kenya/ Uganda/ the United Republic of Tanzania/ Zambia/ Malawi/ Zaire/ Ethiopia/ Vietnam to India with the intention of permanently settling here can also appear for the exam.

Q:   What is IBPS SO exam pattern for interview?

IBPS SO interview is conducted for candidates who qualify the Mains exam. The interview is conducted by the participating banks and coordinated by the nodal banks in each state/UT. The total marks allotted for the interview are 100. The minimum qualifying mark in the interview is 40 per cent (35 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates).
