IGNOU OPENMAT 2022 application process commenced by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on June 5 for July 2022 admission session. The last date to fill out the IGNOU OPENMAT 2022 application form is July 31. Candidates holding a bachelor's degree can proceed to fill the online application form for IGNOU admission. Candidates need to visit the official website to fill out the IGNOU MBA admission form (July 2022 session). Candidates failing to fill out the IGNOU application forms before the deadline will not be allowed to participate in the admission process. This year, management admissions at IGNOU are eligibility-based, thus, no entrance test is being conducted.

How to Apply for IGNOU OPENMAT 2022?

IGNOU OPENMAT application form can be filled out on the IGNOU website in an online mode only. Before filling out the IGNOU OPENMAT application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions to fill the form, and ensure that they fulfil those criteria.

Step1: Online Registration

Visit the official website of IGNOU or https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/
Click on Register Now'' and fill in the details such as name, contact details, user name and password

Enter Captcha Security PIN in the image and click on the 'Submit' button
The filled-in registration form will be displayed on screen for review purpose
To register, click on the 'I Agree' checkbox and the ‘Submit’ button
Candidates will receive an email in your email id and a confirmation SMS in your mobile number
Applicants have to note down the application number and login details

Step 2: Fill up the Application Form

Enter application number and password to login the user account
Fill in details including academic qualification, marks, University/College and reserved category details if applicable
Select the exam centres/cities of your choice from the list for taking the OPENMAT 2022 exam and select up to four cities as per preferred exam centres
For application fee payment, enter the bank details

Step 3: Upload Documents

Upload recent passport size photograph and signature as per the specification mentioned below:

Note: The photo should not be taken wearing a cap or sunglasses. The name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph should be mentioned clearly on the photograph.

Step 4: Examination Fee Payment

Pay the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking options only.

Since there is no entrance exam this year, candidates need not pay any exam fee. A processing fee is payable along with the semester fee payment while the IGNOU MBA registration. Along with the processing fee, candidates need to pay the first-semester fee for direct MBA admission. INR 200 is applicable for unreserved category candidates as the processing fee.

Step 5: Application Submission and Confirmation

Wait for payment status after you have paid the fee
Submit application form of OPENMAT 2022 after receiving an update on fee payment
Download the application confirmation page and take four printouts of the same for future references
