X-GMT syllabus 2025 has been released. XIM University designs the question paper of X-GMT considering four sections. The X-GMT 2025 syllabus outlines the topics and sub-topics for each section of the exam. X-GMT question paper 2025 will have questions from four sections, namely, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Emotional Quotient and General Awareness. Q:   What is the medium of questions appearing in XGMT exam?

A:

Candidates planning to take the XGMT exam, it is important to note that all the questions in the exam are in English medium. This means that candidates will have to be proficient in English language to understand and answer the questions. Additionally, all the answer options for the questions will also be in English medium. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates brush up their English language skills before taking the exam to ensure that they are able to choose the correct answer option and achieve a good score.

Q:   What is the marking scheme in XGMT exam?

A:

XGMT exam is an online MCQ based test conducted for MBA admission. Candidates need to choose one correct option out of four answer options available in the XGMT exam. The marking scheme for XGMT exam is mentioned below:

  • 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer marked by the candidate
  • 1 mark is deducted for everty incorrect answers marked by the candidate
  • No negative marking prevails for the unattempted questions in the XGMT exam

Q:   What is the duration of X-GMT exam?

A:

XGMT exam will have around 100 to 125 MCQ type questions to be answered within 120 minutes. Candidates must note that they will have an average of about 1.2 minutes to answer each question. However, It's important to note that the exact number of questions may vary across different shifts of the exam. The time allotted remains 120 minutes, that is two hours, to answer all the questions that appear in the admission test.

A:

XGMT exam has four sections, including Quantitative Aptitude that accesses the math skills and logic through:

  • Basic math (percentages, averages)
  • Algebra (equations, inequalities)
  • Number properties (divisibility, prime numbers)
  • Geometry (areas, volumes - less common)
  • Data analysis (interpreting charts & graphs)
  • Probability (arrangements, combinations)
