NRA CET 2022 Exam Centres: National Recruitment Agency (NRA) is all set to conduct the Common Eligibility Test (CET) to screen candidates for Group-B and C non-technical and non-gazetted posts. CET will be conducted online at about 1,000 NRA CET exam centres. These exam centres will be set up in almost around 700 districts of the country. NRA CET exam infrastructure will be created in about 117 districts. Recently, it was announced by the Central Government that there will be two NRA CET exam centres in Ladakh.

The NRA CET exam will come as a major relief to students, especially women, rural youth and disadvantaged candidates. Currently, candidates have to appear in multiple examinations conducted by different recruitment agencies. This leads to spending thousands of rupees, which puts the financial burden on candidates belonging to rural areas. Also, many women candidates face constraints in appearing for multiple examinations as they have to arrange for transportation and accommodation at places that are far away from their district.

With NRA CET, the government is aiming to create test centres in every district. If this happens, it will ensure ease of access and less financial constraint for every candidate. NRA to replace the tier-I preliminary exams for various SSCRRB and IBPS government jobs.
