Applicants who want to qualify Rajasthan Joint Entrance Test (JET) must know the Rajasthan JET exam pattern to increase their chances of qualifying for the exam. According to the Rajasthan important dates, this year's exam was scheduled to be held on June 2, 2024.

The authorities released the admit card of Rajasthan JET 2024 in online mode on May 27, 2024

As per the exam pattern of Rajasthan JET 2024, there will be five subjects from which 200 questions were asked. The candidates desiring admission in the stream of Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/Fisheries/ Food Nutrition and Dietetics/Community Science may attempt any three subjects of their 10+2 stream. 

Students who wanted to appear in the exam must know how to prepare for Rajasthan JET Agriculture 2024 exam

So students may attempt any three subjects (120 questions) of their 10+2 stream. The duration of Rajasthan JET exam was two hours

Rajasthan JET 2024 Examination Schedule

The expected exam day schedule for Rajasthan JET, Pre PG, and PhD is as mentioned below:

Reporting to the exam centre 9:30 AM to 10:30AM
Exam begins 11:00 am onwards
Exam ends  1:00 pm 
Candidates can leave exam centre by  1:15 pm onwards

Note: On the exam day the doors of examination centers will be opened for candidates at 9.30 AM and will be closed before 30 min of exam start time i.e. at 10:30 AM.

Rajasthan JET 2024 Sectional Weightage

The question paper of Rajasthan JET 2024 will be divided into five subjects and, candidates have to attempt any three of the subjects as under:

Physics  40 questions  160 marks
Chemistry 40 questions  160 marks
Mathematics 40 questions  160 marks
Biology 40 questions  160 marks
Agriculture 40 questions  160 marks
Total 200 questions to be attempted 800 marks for three subjects 

Rajasthan JET 2024 Marking Scheme

The evaluation method used for Rajasthan JET 2024 will be as under: 

  • Each question will carry 4 marks and it will be awarded for every correct answer
  • In case of the wrong attempt, one mark will be deducted
  • If candidates erase or fill more than one option then it will be considered as an incorrect attempt and hence, negative marking or it won't be considered in the final result evaluation.
  • No marks will be awarded or deducted for unmarked/ unattempted questions by the candidates.
  • The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates (after deducting marks for wrong attempts).
