SBI Junior Associate (Clerk) 2024 Exam Date: Check Complete Schedule

SBI Clerk 2024 notification 2024 will be released soon. Last year, the notification was released on November 16, 2023. The notification is released on the official website in PDF form. The notification carries all the details related to the exam. Before applying for the exam, candidates must read the notification carefully to understand the exam well. The selection process of SBI Clerk comprises prelims and Mains exams. The prelims exam is qualifying in nature. The final selection is done through the Mains exam. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam are required to appear for the language proficiency test. In this test, candidates are judged based on their proficiency in the language of the state they have applied for.

SBI Clerk criteria:- A candidate who is aspiring to apply for the SBI Clerk exam must be an Indian citizen. Candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements to apply for the SBI Clerk Prelims examination. 1.Prospective candidates must have a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government. They must make sure the passing certificate shows the date the relevant degree was earned. 2.Candidates who have an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing of the IDD is as per the guidelines given in the notification. 3.Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination  4.As per the SBI Clerk qualification criteria, the candidates need to mandatorily indicate the percentage theyve obtained in the Graduation degree and calculate it to the nearest two decimals in the online application form. 5.For Matriculate Ex-servicemen, prospective applicants should have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after completing at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union. Age limit:- Not below 20 years and not above 28 years i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive). The details regarding the age limit and the relaxation in upper age are clearly given in the official notification. Candidates must go through the notification in detail and check the eligibility criteria. Relaxation is given to the various categories for the SBI Clerk exam. SC/ST - 5yeras OBC 3 years PWD (Gen/EWS) 10 years PWD(ST/ST) 15 years PWS(OBC) 13 years Ex-Servicemen/ Disabled Ex-Servicemen - The actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to max. age of 50 years Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried - 7 years (subject to maximum age limit of 35 years for General/ EWS, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates) Note: 1.Candidates who seek age relaxation are required to submit copies of the necessary certificate at the time of admission.

SBI Clerk application form 2024 will be released soon along with the notification. Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria need to apply online for the exam. The application process comprises several steps such as registration, uploading of scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed application form, uploading the handwritten declaration and left thumb impression and paying the application fees. The application fees can be paid online. The application fees for the exam is INR 750 for the General and OBC categories. SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS categories are exempted from fee payment.

Both SBI Clerk and IBPS Clerk exams are competitive and require dedicated preparation. However, it is difficult to say which one is more difficult as the level of difficulty can vary from year to year and also depends on an individual’s strengths and weaknesses. The prelims exam of IBPS Clerk and SBI Clerk comprises three sections- English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The prelims exam is conducted for 100 marks. The mains exam of IBPS Clerk and SBI Clerk comprises General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the test are 200.

SBI Clerk exam is conducted in four shifts. The reporting time for shift 1 is 8 AM whereas it is 10.30 AM for Shift 2. SBI Clerk reporting time for Shift 3 is 1 pm whereas it is 3.30 for Shift 4. The shift-wise reporting timings are given below.

The prelims exam of SBI Clerk is conducted in four shifts while the Mains exam is conducted in two shifts. To be eligible for SBI Clerk exam, candidates should be between 20 and 28 years and have completed graduation in any discipline. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also apply for the exam provisionally. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. SBI Clerk result is usually announced one or two weeks after the exam is conducted. The result is announced online on the official website. To download the result, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number, date of birth and captcha code. The scorecard of SBI Clerk is released few days after the declaration of the result. The result display the qualifying status of candidates for the next round of selection process. SBI Clerk admit card is released one week before the exam. The link to download the admit card is made available on the official website. SBI Clerk admit card is released separately for the prelims and Mains exams. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. The admit card is an important document without candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam.
