SEBI Grade A Application Form 2024: Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) released SEBI Grade A application form 2024 on June 11, 2024. The last date to fill the application form was June 30, 2024. Only online applications was accepted for the SEBI Grade A exam.
Applicants could pay the application fees online. The application fee for Unreserved/OBC/EWS was INR 1000 whereas it was INR 100 for SC/ ST/ PwBD categories. The application fee for Unreserved/OBC/EWS is INR 1000 whereas it is INR 100 for SC/ ST/ PwBD categories. Payment of application fee/ intimation charges has to be done after successful registration of the application else application will be treated as cancelled. Candidates have to pay the requisite fees/intimation charges only through online mode. The payment can be made by using only Debit Cards (Rupay/ Visa/ Master Card/Maestro), Credit cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt. Non-generation of e-receipt indicates payment failure. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their provisional registration number and password and repeat the process of payment.

- Visit the official website of SEBI
- Candidates need to register for the exam by clicking the New Registration link
- After registration, candidates need to upload their scanned photograph and signature
- Once registration is done, registration ID and password are generated
- Candidates need to fill personal details, basic details, communication details, select exam centres, educational qualification, etc.
- After entering these details, candidates should preview the application form and make the changes if any
- Candidates should upload the scanned left thumb impression and handwritten declaration
- Candidates should proceed towards paying the application fees
- After fee payment, candidates should take the printout of the fee transaction receipt

- Applicants are required to go to SEBI’s website-www.sebi.gov.in
- They need to then open the link ‘Careers’
- Candidates need to open the recruitment notification titles-‘SEBI Recruitment Exercise-Recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) 2023-Legal Stream’
- Click on the option ‘Apply Online’
- To register application, choose the tab ‘Click Here for New Registration’ and enter Name, Contact details and Email-ID
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password are generated by the system and displayed on the screen
- Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email and SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent
- In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, they can save the data already entered by choosing ‘Save and Next’ tab. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the ‘Save and Next’ facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required
- Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the ‘Complete Registration’ button
- Candidates need to validate the details and save the application form by clicking ‘Validate your Details’ and click on ‘Save and Next’ button
- Candidates can proceed to upload Photo, Signature, Left Thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per the specifications
- Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before final submission
- Click on ‘Payment’ tab and proceed for fee payment

Q: Do I need to pay GST charges while filling the SEBI Grade A application form?
Along with the SEBI Grade A application form, candidates need to pay the application fees through credit/debit/UPI and the fee once paid is not refunded. For the Unreserved/OBC/EWS category, the application fee is INR 1000 plus 18% GST and for SC/ ST/ PwBD, the application fee is INR 100 plus 18% GST. Candidates need to pay the application fees online.
SEBI Grade A Handwritten Declaration
While filling SEBI Grade A application form, candidates need to upload the handwritten declaration. The text for handwritten declaration is given below:
“I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
SEBI Grade A handwritten has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only. If it is written and uploaded by anybody else or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid. In the case of Visually Impaired candidates who cannot write may get the text of declaration typed and put their left hand thumb impression below the typed declaration and upload the document as per specifications.

Q: What should be the ideal size for uploading photograph and signature for SEBI Grade A exam?
The ideal size for uploading photograph and signature is given below:
- Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
- The picture should be in colour, against a light-coloured, preferably white background. Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
- If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows
- If you have to use flash, ensure there's no red-eye
- If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen
- Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face
- Dimension of the photograph should be 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
- Size of file should be between 20kb-50kb. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, number of colours etc., during the process of scanning

- The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen
- The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink
- The applicant has to write the declaration in English clearly on a white paper with black ink
- The signature, left thumb impression and the hand written declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person
- The signature will be used to put on the admit card and wherever necessary
- If the applicant’s signature on the attendance sheet or call letter, signed at the time of the examination, does not match with the signature uploaded, the applicant will be disqualified
- The dimensions of the signature should be 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
- Size of file should be between 10kb-20kb for signature and 20kb-50kb for left thumb impression
- Size for handwriting declaration should be between 50kb-100kb
- Signature /handwritten declaration in capital letters will not be accepted
