It is very beneficial for SSC exams specially for CGL, CHSL. 2) For Reasoning, refer to RS Agarwal. It will be good enough. Just practice and practice a lot. SSC CHSL Marks After Normalisation

SSC CHSL exam is conducted in multiple shifts across the nation at the designated exam centres. SSC conduct the normalization of raw marks scored by the candidates to provide a level playing field for all the candidates. SSC released the normalization formula to calculate the final marks of candidates.

Basic Assumption for SSC Normalisation of Marks

SSC assumes that “in all multi-shift examinations, the distribution of abilities of candidates is the same across all the shifts”. This assumption of SSC is justified since the number of candidates appearing in multiple shifts in the examinations conducted by the Commission is large and the procedure for allocation of examination shifts to candidates is random.

SSC released the normalisation formula in the official notice as given below:

SSC_CHSL_Tier_1_Normalisation Formula

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Normalisation Formula

The important point to note here is that the calculation of marks is done up to five decimal places.
