UPSC CAPF (AC) 2022 Eligibility
The UPSC CAPF (AC) exam is an open exam and the selection is done through the competition among the candidates applied for the exam. The basic educational criteria is a graduate degree in any subject with any percentage of marks.
Any candidates who are graduates from a recognised university can fill the UPSC CAPF (AC) 2022 application and appear in the CAPF (AC) exam subject to the fulfilment of other eligibility conditions.
Nationality
It is one of the most important eligibility criteria for this exam because this exam recruits the candidates for the security forces and sometimes get very sensitive postings. So, the nationality of the candidate is very important for this exam.
Only Indian Citizens and the candidates who are the subject of Nepal and Bhutan can appear in this exam. In UPSC Civil Services exam, the candidates from various countries can apply for the exam.
Age limit for UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam 2022
The age is an exception for this exam because it does not follow the standard age limit as other exams follow. The age limit for the UPSC CAPF (AC) exam is
Lower Age limit: 20 years
Upper Age limit: Less than 25 years.
The notification states that the candidate must not have attained the age of 25 years. It means the candidate should be less than 25 years of age. The age is counted from August 1 of the exam year. The upper age limit is much less than compared to other exams offering the group A services.
Age relaxation is also provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories
