Q:   Is there a placement cell at BVCOE, Pune?

A:

As of my last update in September 2021, BVCOE (Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering), Pune, had a Training and Placement Cell to assist students with placement opportunities. The primary role of the placement cell is to facilitate the campus recruitment process and bridge the gap between students and potential employers. It works closely with companies and industries to invite them for campus placements and organizes various activities to prepare students for interviews and job placements.

The Training and Placement Cell typically offers the following services:

1. Campus Recruitment: The placement cell invites companies to the campus for recruitment drives, allowing students to participate in interviews and selection processes.

2. Internships: It may assist students in finding internship opportunities during their academic tenure, providing valuable industry exposure.

3. Training Programs: The placement cell organizes training sessions and workshops to enhance students' employability skills, including communication skills, interview preparation, and aptitude training.

4. Career Counseling: The cell provides guidance and counseling to students regarding their career choices, job opportunities, and skill development.

5. Placement Reports: The cell may publish placement reports detailing the companies that visited the campus, the job profiles offered, and the salary packages offered to the students.

The availability of a Training and Placement Cell and its specific offerings can vary over time. For the most up-to-date and accurate information about the Training and Placement Cell at BVCOE, Pune, I recommend visiting the college's official website or contacting the college directly. They should be able to provide comprehensive details about their current placement services and assistance for students.

All about Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Engineering College.
Placements: 80% students were placed in 2023, with companies like AMAZON, SYNTEL, TATA, etc. The highest package is 72 Lacs p.a., the lowest package is 3 Lacs p.a., and the medium package is 6-8 Lacs p.a. Internships are offered by the college itself in the 3rd year, but if you don't do anything in college, you will not get any internship, etc. No one will entertain you.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work in the college, but you have a good mobile internet range. Facilities are very good and very supportive in my course. Akshay sir from Programming and Shankar sir from Mechanical were very supportive in my projects. I don't know about the hostels, but you get some good P.G. accommodations near the college. In December 2024, the rent is 5k/month in a P.G.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, but they should add more programming things in the syllabus. Semester exams are held twice a year, in winter (December) and summer (May). Between every semester, there are 2 unit tests, for a total of 6 tests in a year (4 unit tests and 2 semester exams). Semester exams are not difficult if you obey the teachers and do all that they tell you to do.
Other: I am passionate about robotics, and practical knowledge should be increased. The syllabus can be more accurate from a robotics perspective. Bharatiyam is a very big fest held every year in the college.

Good college for Engineering.
Placements: I chose the Electrical and Computer Engineering course because I noticed this course is new at this college. Because of this course, I can join electrical and computer-related companies. The average salary package offered for this course is between 5 LPA-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good from both inside and outside. College has almost all types of labs which is necessary for the course. College has maintained good pathways. Infrastructure of hostel is decent as compared to other colleges.
Faculty: In the Electrical and Computer Engineering course, faculty members are very friendly to students. In this course, we learn about both divisions electrical and computer-related. Semester exams are not very difficult.

Decent Infrastructure and average placement.
Placements: This year was a recession year, so the placements all over the country went down, but still, the college maintained some decency and got mass recruiters and even some big names like ICICI, AB, and Tata Communications. The average package was 4 LPA, but the number of placements was too low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that appealing. The buildings are old, and the campus is not of the college alone but of the university, so overall the campus looks big, though in real terms it is small. Classes are decent, and the inclusion of smartboards is also there.
Faculty: The faculty of some of the branches is quite a hill, but most of the core branches have teachers who honk every minute for the work. Also, assignments and project-based learning are hampering the study. All of this could be avoided to get more focus on industry.
Other: Overall, it is good, but do not expect a lot from the faculty. You have to do it on your own.

Satisfied because of faculty, good placements, a great infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 94% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 5.5. LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deepak Fertilizer, Torecid and Uno Mind. 100% of students got internships. The top roles are Process engineer, intern and technical expert to oversee the process.
Infrastructure: The college has various labs, a smart classroom, a library, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The hostel is not that good for boys but for girls, it's very nice. Hostels must increase the quality of food served. The environment of the hostel is great but must start the Library 24 hours daily and also incorporate staff for student regulation.
Faculty: Great teachers are there. The latest 2021 course curriculum is applied. The exams are pretty difficult but due to great teachers,100% passing is there. Semester exams are monitored heavily by committees formed in college. Pressure is there as not only theoretical but practical exam is also taken.
Other: I have a great resonance with this course and it has various opportunities in every field. Nothing much just incorporating case studies for buisness development. Bhartiyam event is there, various seminar under iiche of experienced professional take place. Environment cleaning such activities are done.

It is a good college with a good ROI on admission.
Placements: Almost 75% of students got placed in our course through college placements. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Mahindra, BSNL, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Azure, TCS, and ION. Top roles offered are SD, cyber security, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has every need of a student. It is one of the only things which is good about it. Our college is spread over 84 acres of land. It is wide with greenery all over our college. Hostels for engineering are not very good. The library, hospital, banks, and everything are inside the college.
Faculty: Teachers are good in every college. It is the student who does not attend lectures. The course is up to the point. It is a little easier compared to other colleges. The difficulty level of semester exams is more or less mediocre. Students can easily pass their exams.
Other: I chose this course because of its scope. The entire CSE and IT departments are out of jobs. The gender ratio would have been better. Our college conducts one cultural event called Bhartiyam every year. It is average.

Our college is basically a 2 tier college with average placement, nice and coorperative staff.
Placements: 80% students get placed. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the highest is 24 LPA offered by phonepe. Average package is 5 LPA. Phonepe is among the top recruiters. Internships are not offered by our college. Developed role is the most offered role in our college .
Infrastructure: Whole campus has Wi-Fi, classes have digital smart board and labs and library are also equipped with computers, but they are not air conditioned, they just have fans. Boys' hostels are too bad and their food quality is also not good meanwhile girls hostel are three in number and they have excellent food quality.
Faculty: Teachers are really cooperative and they have sufficient knowledge of their subject. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant because a student learns DSA and networking at the same time. Sem exams are quite difficult. Most students get backlogs in their exams you need to study atleast a week before exams to score excellent marks.
Other: This is the oldest course and has the maximum number of placements and best placement records in our college. Bhartiyam is our annual fest which is held in month of March and has many events.
