NCHMCT JEE Seat Allotment 2025 college-wise list will be released by the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology soon. Check here the list of colleges accepting NCHMCT JEE 2025 scores for the academic year 2025-26. NCHMCT JEE is held for admission in BSc (HHA) course that is offered jointly by NCHMCT and IGNOU. 

NCHMCT JEE Seat Allotment 2025: The National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology will release the college-wise NCHMCT JEE Seat Allotment 2025 list. The NCHMCT JEE seat allotment 2025 registration for JEE and Non-JEE candidates is completely online. The official website for registering for NCHMCT Counselling is nchmcounselling.nic.in. The score of this exam is accepted by 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs,1 PSU IHM, and 27 Private IHMs, all affiliated with NCHMCT. The NCHMCT JEE Result will be declared online.

Seats on offer for admission at Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) through NCHMCT JEE scores have been increasing over the years. The NCHMCT JEE counselling website has informed that 12,707 seats are up for grabs based on performance in this national-level hospitality entrance exam. Candidates can go through the seats available for admission through NCHMCT JEE exam in the table below:

Q:   When the NCHMCT JEE 2025 exam will be conducted?

A:

The NCHMCT JEE 2025 exam date has not been announced yet. The exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode at various test centers across India.

Here is a tentative schedule for the NCHMCT JEE 2025:

  • Release of Notification: February 2025
  • Application Form Opening: February 2025
  • Application Form Closing: April 2025
  • Admit Card Release: 15 days before the exam
  • Examination Date: May 2025
  • Result Announcement: June 2025
  • Counselling: June-July 2025

Q:   Is the NCHMCT JEE fee refundable?

A:

The NCHMCT JEE application fee is not refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawal from the application or non-appearance in the exam. However, a partial refund of INR. 20,000 is available for candidates who cancel their seat allocation after being allotted a seat. This refund is subject to the deduction of INR. 1000 and will be processed within 45 days of the start of the academic session. Q:   Is it mandatory to attend the NCHMCT JEE for a Bachelor of Hotel Management?

A:
No, taking the NCHMCT JEE is not required to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Hotel Management programme. This exam is required for enrollment in the B.Sc. (HHA) programme at the Institute of Hotel Management. Other than government IHMs, around 27 private IHMs also accept the NCHMCT JEE score for admission to a Bachelor's course. There are many other colleges, such as Chandigarh University, Welcomgroup, and Servo Hospitality School, that accept admission without the NCHMCT JEE. Aspirants can go through the list of colleges and seats available for admission if they have cleared NCHMCT JEE 2025. Earlier, only six IHMs used to offer BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) courses with vegetarian cooking options but now all IHMs offer this course. Elaborating on the same the official website informs, “The BSc HHA programme (Generic & Vegetarian) is available along with the Vegetarian candidates in all the affiliated Institute of Hotel Management but only vegetarian practical option is available for vegetarian candidates. However, other theory classes will be at par with the other students”.

Q:   Will NCHMCT JEE exam 2025 be conducted online or offline?

There will be an online computer-based test for the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam. With the exception of the English part, all of the questions on the bilingual question paper are available in both Hindi and English. Students are given systems to use during exam attempts, and they must respond to questions on these systems.

Q:   What documents do I need to carry at NCHMCT JEE Exam centre?

A:

To the NCHMCT JEE Exam Centre, candidates must have a printed copy of their barcoded admit card with a current photo on it. They must provide a photocopy of their permanent or provisional SMC, MCI, or NMC registration, which is kept at the centre, in addition to their admit card. Additionally, they must bring an original photo identity document, such as a voter ID, passport, driver's licence, Aadhaar, or Pan card. If an electronic Aadhar card is brought to the centre, it must be a high-quality printout with a sharp photo on it.

A:

NCHMCT JEE 2025 notification will be tentatively released in December. Q:   Is it advisable to take year drop for NCHMCT JEE Exam?

A:

You can retake the exam and increase your chances of receiving the target score by taking a drop year. However, by studying for the same exam, taking a year off means losing another year. You are up against the same rivalry and pressure as previously.
A drop year allows you to prepare for the exam again and it gives you hope of getting the desired score this time. But, taking a year drop means losing another year by preparing for the same exam. You have to face the same competition and stress as you did before.
