NCHM JEE 2022 Paper Analysis by Students

NCHMCT JEE Exam Analysis From Last Year
National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NCHMCT JEE last year in an online proctored mode. The exam last year was easier than NCHM JEE 2020. Most of the students found the Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude section difficult and the rest of the sections were easy. Candidates said that they could easily attempt 160-180 questions correctly. The total number of questions asked in the exam was 200. Check the detailed analysis of the exam below:

NCHMCT JEE is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration as well as nine other structured courses of study that are offered at 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 25 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, one Public Sector Undertaking and 24 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT.
NCHMCT JEE Exam Analysis 2021 - Exam Pattern
This year the exam pattern was the same as the previous year. Except for the mode of exam which was online and not CBT. The pattern followed this year is as follows:

- Duration of the exam: 3 hours
- Marking scheme: Each question carries 4 marks, 1 mark will be deducted for wrong attempts

NCHMCT JEE 2021 Online Exam Experience
Students who got in touch with Shiksha after the exam said that the exam was glitch-free and they could complete the test smoothly. However, there are a few students who faced difficulty in the exam like server error, scree blacking out and freezing, login time expiration and similar issues.
Overall there was a mixed reaction of the students about the online exam experience.
NCHMCT JEE Exam Analysis from Previous Year
NCHMCT JEE exam was conducted on August 29 across 86 NCHMCT JEE test centres spread all over the country. There were no changes in NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam pattern or marking scheme for the paper as compared to last year. There were a total of 200 questions that aspirants had to attempt in 180 minutes duration. Total weightage for NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam was 800 marks. There was negative marking in the hospitality entrance exam.
Overall, NCHMCT JEE 2020 was easy to attempt and students were able to complete the paper on time. The section-wise analysis of questions asked in the hotel management entrance exam is mentioned in the table below.

NCHCT JEE 2019 | Till 2018, National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT) used to conduct NCHMCT JEE exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NCHMCT JEE 2019 for the first time on April 27 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A three-hour duration test, the paper was conducted in online mode at 49 cities spread across the country. Although the level of the questions asked in NCHMCT JEE 2019 was easy, the introduction of negative marking certainly increased the difficulty level of the paper as candidates were at the risk of losing more marks in the exam on attempting any question, wrong. Similar to previous years, Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude section (commonly referred to as Maths section) was the most difficult as compared to all other sections in the exam. NCHMCT JEE 2018 | NCHMCT JEE 2018 exam was held on April 28. A three hours duration exam, NCHMCT JEE was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm across 33 test cities in the country. The questions asked in NCHMCT JEE 2018 were as expected and the test pattern was similar to that of past years’ papers. NCHMCT JEE 2017 | NCHMCT JEE exam was conducted today, April 29, 2017. A three hours duration exam, NCHMCT JEE was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. But this year, the exam was held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm across 33 test cities in India. There were no surprises in NCHMCT JEE 2017 exam. The test pattern was similar to that of past years’ papers. In fact, students went to the extent of saying that about 50%-60% of the questions asked were the same as the ones asked in past 10 years of this hotel management entrance exam. NCHMCT JEE 2016 | NCHMCT JEE exam was held across 33 test centres in India today, April 30, 2016. The exam was of three hours duration and was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. Aspirants had to report for NCHMCT JEE 2016 at 9 am. Candidates were not be allowed to enter the exam center once the hotel management entrance test started. Overall, the NCHMCT JEE 2016 exam was simple and so aspirants should expect the cut-off to go high. NCHMCT JEE 2015 | NCHMCT JEE 2015 was conducted on April 25, 2015. The exam was of three hours, that is, it was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. Most of the experts shared that overall the questions asked in NCHMCT JEE 2015 question paper were easy. Maximum questions were asked in the English section.
