ICAR AIEEA 2023 Exam Analysis: Subject-wise Difficulty Level (Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry) & Review

Before moving towards the ICAR AIEEA analysis, let us take a look at the ICAR AIEEA exam pattern in the table below.

The ICAR AIEEA is divided into four streams, which consist of three subjects each.

Note: In the AIEEA UG Stream-A exam paper there are questions from both subjects – Biology and Agriculture. Candidates need to attempt questions from either of the subjects.

ICAR AIEEA 2020 Analysis

According to the last year’s test takers and experts, the exam was of moderate to tough difficulty level. Several candidates stated that the difficulty level of the ABC (Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry) group was tough. We now bring to you the subject-wise analysis of ICAR AIEEA 2020.

Physics

The difficulty level of this exam was moderate to tough. Following were the topics from this section:

Chemistry

The Chemistry section was also of moderate to the tough difficulty level. The important topics from which questions were asked included:

• Surface Chemistry

• s-Block, p-Block Elements

• Physical Chemistry

Biology

The Biology section was of easy to moderate difficulty level. Some of the questions were lengthy and were time-consuming. The major topics from this subject were as follows:

• Units of Life

• Diversity of Life

• Organisms and Environment

Mathematics

The Mathematics section was of moderate to the tough difficulty level. Some of the questions were of lengthy and time-consuming nature. Dominating topics in the section were as follows:

• Sets and Functions

• Algebra

• Coordinate Geometry

• Calculus

• Statistics

Agriculture

This section was also rated as moderate. There were four important topics in this section that were covered in the question paper:

• Agro meteorology, Genetics, and Plant Breeding, Biochemistry and Microbiology

• Livestock Production

• Crop Production

• Horticulture

The duration of the ICAR AIEEA is 120 minutes or 2 hours. The total number of questions will be 120, which carry multiple choices. Each question carries four marks and there is a negative marking of one mark. The total mark of this section was 480.
