B.A. in Culinary Arts - Batch of 2019
Offered by SRIHM - Sheila Raheja Institute of Hotel Management

Satisfied with the fees and the exposure a student of SRIHM gets and the best infrastructure.
Placements: Yes placement is 100% I myself have trained at a Michelin star restaurant yauatcha in BKC after completing my first year itself. Placements are also in 5 star properties in Mumbai as well as out of Mumbai, Oberoi, Taj land ends, Trident all these are common places the students are placed at.
Infrastructure: Best infrastructure for a culinary/hospitality student in Mumbai. Library has a vast collection of books on FNB, cookery as well as housekeeping. Classrooms as well as kitchens are provided with air conditioning. Institute has a doctor on the ground floor and first aid is taken care of in the kitchen as well as in the classroom, bandages and all can also be collected from the admin office. Sports day is celebrated in the month of December every year, other events keep taking place throughout the year. Students get to participate in all the events, intra college competitions are also held and students are also exposed to inter college competitions. Canteen provides only vegetarian food but the quality is worth the price and everything is quite affordable. The hospitality classrooms and kitchen's being on the 5th and 6th floor the students are allowed to use the elevators. The institute has 3 elevators in total one fire exit and one regular staircase too. All the kitchens are well equipped to deal with fire safety. The faculty is friendly and approachable. Industrial visits are conducted for every batch once in a year and one international trip is conducted in the final year. College doesn't have a hostel of their own although PG's are provided.
Faculty: The faculty is friendly and approachable. Well experienced professionals who are in the industry for a minimum of 10 years to a maximum of 40 years are teaching in this institution. The professors are helpful to the students in the college as well as outside the college. The faculty plays a major role in getting a student placed in a 5 star property or a stand alone restaurant. The contacts that the faculty has are very helpful to the students. All the faculties are well qualified. Students here are taught practically as well as theoretically theories include presentations on videos, which attracts more attention from the students as it makes a visual as well as audible impact on a person. Students are asked to make presentations and present it once in a while. One class has a minimum of 40 students.
