DU 1st Cut-off list 2021: Delhi University releases 1st UG Cut-off 2021; Know admission process

DU has released the First Cut off 2021 today. Candidates interested in DU Admissions 2021 must note that the admissions against the first DU cut off list 2021 will begin at 10 am on October 4 and end at 5 pm on October 7.

DU first cut-off 2021: Colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi have released the first cut-offs for admission to undergraduate courses today; i.e. October 1, 2021. The DU has released three cut-off lists – one for Science, one for Commerce, one for Arts and another for BA programmes. Delhi University has released the 1st Cut-off List for admission to undergraduate course on its DU admission portal; i.e. admission.uod.ac.in. College-wise First cut-off lists have also been published on the respective websites of the colleges.

Delhi University’s Aryabhatta College is the first one to release the DU first cut-off list 2021 for admission to various courses. Aryabhatta College’s first DU cut-off 2021 list includes 13 undergraduate courses. The Highest cut-off stood at 98.5 per cent for BA (H) Psychology. Candidates interested in DU Admissions 2021 must note that the admissions against the first DU cut off list 2021 will begin at 10 am on October 4 and end at 5 pm on October 7. Owing to the COVID-19 restrictions, Delhi University is conducting the DU admission process completely online. Students have been eagerly waiting for the Delhi University to release the 1st Cut-off list for admIssion to the undergraduate courses for the academic year 2021-22. DU Cut-off 2021 schedule was released by the Delhi University on September 28, 2021.

The second cut off list for Delhi University undergraduate courses will be announced on October 9. DU will be releasing a total of 5 cut off lists on the official website. Candidates who meet the cut-off score as per DU 2020 first cut off list have to complete the document verification, admission approval and fee payment process.

Candidates can check the Delhi University 1st Cut off List 2021 of respective colleges by following the simple steps given below. The Course wise Arts, Science, Commerce college cutoff is separately released.:

• Go to the official web portal of DU; i.e. admission.uod.ac.in
• On that portal home page, click on the link that states 'DU cut off 2021;
• You will be redirected to a new window
• Check the cut off marks carefully by choosing the college, category and course
• Save the DU cutoff list 2021 for reference

DU Cut off 2021: What to do after DU First Cutoff List 2021 is out?

Once the first cutoff list for DU Admission 2021 is out, the candidates must note that they have to fill the admission form. Candidates must not get confused, as the admission form is different from the DU registration forms. The admission forms are basically for the course and college the students are looking to get enrolled in. To fill in the DU Admission form, candidates will have to login into their candidate login by entering their DU registered e-mail id and password. Students can check the steps below:

• Go to the official website of DU; du.ac.in
• Login and generate DU admission form
• Fill the online admission form
• Upload scanned documents for online verification; Check the list of documents required for DU Admissions 2021 here
• Once the document is verified and admission is confirmed, candidates will have to log in again and pay the admission fee using the link activated under their login
• Once the fee is submitted, the admission will be confirmed

It must be noted that Delhi University will be doing verification of the original documents. The documents need to be verified by the respective colleges within the given time frame. If at any stage it is found that the information given by the applicant is wrong and/ or is not supported by the documents presented, the admission will be cancelled immediately. The Delhi University will not refund any fee in such cases.
