The Presidency University, Kolkata conducts the Presidency University Bachelor’s Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) in order to offer students admission in undergraduate humanities and sciences courses which are offered at the university.  In order to get admission in Presidency University, students need to appear for PUBDET, which is conducted annually. The PUBDET is a state-level entrance exam. The exam is in offline mode i.e. pen and paper test.

With the aim to ace the PUBDET, students need to get all the correct material to study, categorize their schedule, solve mock tests and should be familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme and syllabus which will help them crack the PUBDET.

Stepwise Preparation for PUBDET

Know the PUBDET Syllabus

Strategize your plans on an hourly, daily and weekly basis. Be it Political Science or a foreign language you are taking up, once you have the syllabus, you know how you are supposed to begin the preparation. There is no success without hard work and in order to get admission, you can prepare better by knowing which topics to cover in-depth and which sections will require superficial knowledge such as general studies. You can do so by following the below-mentioned pointers:

  • Cover the subjects thoroughly and know the important topics which have to be covered.
  • Segregate the subjects and topics into easy and difficult categories. Cover topics which you find challenging.

Make a time table before you get down to your preparation. One of the most important elements while preparing for an Entrance Exam is time management.
