PUBDET 2020 Application Form released online

The Presidency University Bachelor Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) application forms have been released online on the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board on January 9, 2020. Interested candidates can register and apply online for PUBDET 2020 on the WBJEE website. The last date to submit the PUBDET application form is February 6, 2020.

PUBDET is conducted in order to offer students admission in BA and BSc (Hons) programmes offered at Presidency University, Kolkata. Before candidates can apply for PUBDET 2020, candidates need to firstly meet the eligibility criteria as set by the university. Candidates are only eligible if they meet the PUBDET 2020 eligibility criteria which are as follows:

Citizen of India

Age Limit

No upper or lower age limit

Academic Qualification

  • Candidates should have cleared higher secondary examination (XII) that is conducted by CBSE, West Bengal or equivalent exam not before 2019.
  • The candidate must pass XII with at least five recognized subjects, including English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated in the best four recognized subjects.

How to apply for PUBDET 2020

To fill and download the PUBDET 2020 application form, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps which are:

  • Registration
  • Application Form
  • Image Upload
  • Fee Payment

Step 1: The candidate will have to visit the official website of WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination).

Step 2: On visiting the home page, the candidate has to search for ‘PUBDET 2020’.

Step 3: On clicking ‘PUBDET 2020’, the candidate will be directed to a new page. From there, the candidate has to click on the link ‘Fill Application Form for PUBDET 2020’.

Step 4: On clicking the link, the candidate will once again be directed to a new page. From there, the candidate has to click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 5: On clicking on ‘New Registrations’, the candidate has to follow the rules and guidelines laid down by WBJEE. Once the candidate has read and understood the instructions, the candidate has to tick the box ‘I have downloaded Information Bulletin, read and understood all instructions’. After ticking the box, click on the link ‘Click here to proceed’.

Step 6: On clicking on the above mentioned, link, the candidate can then proceed to fill the PUBDET 2020 application form.

Once the candidate has completed the formalities i.e filling and submitting the application form along with making the payment of the fee, the applicant needs to download and take a print out of the confirmation page as it will be required for future references. Candidates also must note that the examination fee is non-refundable.
