AIBE XX (20) exam centre 2025: The Bar Council of India (BCI) will release the list of AIBE 20 Exam Centres on its official website. Candidates must check the AIBE Exam Centres List PDF before applying for the AIBE Exam. The Council is expected to release the AIBE 20 Notification 2025 anytime soon. It will carry all important information like: AIBE Exam Date, AIBE 20 Registration Date 2025, AIBE 20 Admit Card Release Date 2025, AIBE Result 2025, etc.

Candidates can select their choice of  AIBE XX (20) exam centres in 2025-26 while filling up the AIBE 20 application form.  BCI tries to allocate the nearest exam center ( first preference) to candidates for taking the AIBE XX exam as per the availability of seats. Candidates must note that AIBE 20 Admit Card 2025 Is a mandatory document to appear in the AIBE 20 Exam. Candidates must note that the AIBE 20 Hall Ticket 2025 will carry all important details about AIBE 20 Test Centre and other AIBE 20 Exam Day Guidelines 2025. AIBE 20 will be held in pen-and-paper mode.  AIBE 20 Exam Date 2025 has not been announced yet.

The AIBE 20 Exam 2025 will be conducted in as many as 54 cities across India. The examination will be for 3 hours 30 minutes duration, and candidates will not be allowed to leave the AIBE test centre before the exam ends. AIBE is now a closed-book examination, which means candidates are not allowed to carry notebooks/ reference material inside the examination hall. The exam authority allowed only Bare Acts as reference material for AIBE examination.

Q:   Has BCI released list of AIBE 2024 test centres?

A: 

No, BCI has not yet released the list of AIBE XX 2025 test centres. The test centres list will be released along with the official AIBE 20 Notification. Candidates have to provide choice for AIBE 2025 centre while applying for the exam. A maximum of three options can be opted for exam city choice. BCI provides the exam centre to candidate along with the admit card for AIBE 2025. Once allotted, candidates request to change the exam centre will not be entertained.

Q:   What documents do I need to carry at AIBE Exam centre?

A: 

Candidates had to carry a printed copy of barcodded admit card with recent photograph on it to the exam centre of AIBE Exam Centre. In addition to admit card, they also had to bring photocopy of permanent / provisional SMC/MCI/NMC registration which is retained at the centre. They also had to bring one of the original photo identity proofs such as Aadhaar, Pan card, Driving license, Passport, Voter ID etc. In case one brings e Aadhaar card at the centre, that should be good quality print out with clear photograph on it.

Q:   How will I know about the AIBE exam centre allotted to me?

A: 

AIBE exam centre will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other crucial details. Apart from name and address of allotted AIBE exam centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines etc. Date for admit card release is published along with the information brochure on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card for AIBE after logging and providing details such as application ID, password and others.

A: 

Yes, the AIBE admit card will contain details about the exam center, along with other important information.

Details Mentioned on AIBE Admit Card:

  • Candidate's Name & Roll Number
  • Exam Date & Time
  • Exam Center Name & Address
  • Reporting Time & Exam Day Instructions
  • Photograph & Signature of the Candidate

Candidates must download the admit card from the official AIBE website and verify all details. It is mandatory to carry a printout of the admit card along with a valid ID proof on the exam day.

Q:   Can I change the exam centre once the application process gets over for AIBE exam?

A: 

No. One cant change the AIBE Exam centre once the application form is submitted online. Candidates have to choose options of exam centre while applying for the exam. The exam centre option is filled during the final registration for AIBE. Candidates can declare maximum 3 options for exam centre. AIBE will let candidates know about name and address of exam centre through the admit card. The admit card for AIBE has to be carried to the exam centre else candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Q:   Can I change the AIBE Exam centre after release of admit card?

A: 

No, BCI did not entertain any such request to change AIBE Exam centre once the admit card was released. This is the reason, candidates were advised to choose the exam centre for AIBE very carefully while filling application form for the exam. Once the application form for AIBE was submitted, there was no way to change the exam centre. Candidates were apprised about the allotment of AIBE exam centre through the admit card which had to be downloaded from the official website.

Q:   How many city preferences can a candidate submit while selecting AIBE center?

A: 

Candidates can submit maximum 3 preferences for AIBE centre. Choosing preference for exam centre is mandatory to submit AIBE application. Candidates will get to know about allotment of exact centre once the admit card is released. BCI releases admit card online comprising crucial details about exam including name and address of AIBE centre. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website after its release. To download AIBE admit card, candidates need application ID, password, and Exam Unique Code (EUC).

Q:   Can I appear for AIBE Exam if I reach one hour late to test centre?

A: 

No, you cannot appear for the AIBE exam if you reach the test center one hour late.

AIBE Exam Timing & Rules:

  • Candidates must report at least 30–45 minutes before the exam starts.
  • Entry closes strictly before the exam begins. Latecomers are not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Arriving late may lead to disqualification, and no extra time will be given.

What You Should Do:
Check exam center location in advance to avoid delays.
Reach at least 1 hour before to complete verification procedures.

Instructions for AIBE XX (20) exam centres 2025-26

Candidates appearing for the bar examination should be careful of the following instructions on the exam day: 

  • Candidates must carry their admit card along with one Photo ID proof to their respective examination centre. Candidates without admit card shall not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
  • Candidates should report at their respective Examination Centre by 08:30 am
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 10:15 am
  • Candidates are allowed to carry only BARE ACTS (without notes and comments) inside the examination centre
  • Electronic or Communication devices of any kind (such as mobile phones, laptops, smart watch etc.) and Books or Notes (except BARE ACTS without notes and comments) are not allowed in the Examination Hall.
  • Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the conclusion of the examination and without handing over the Answer sheet.
  • All markings on the answer sheet must be with Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only. Using a pencil for marking on the answer sheet will lead to Disqualification of the exam.
  • Candidate should enter the roll number on the answer sheet as it is mentioned on the admit card and fill in the respective ovals. Any mismatch would lead to disqualification.
  • Candidate must follow the instruction strictly as mentioned on the test booklet cover
  • Candidate should fill the Question Booklet Set Code and Roll Number and all other necessary information correctly on the answer sheet.
  • In case of more than 40% disability, 20 minutes extra time per hour will be allowed to the candidate. Kindly submit a certified copy of your disability certificate to the invigilator to avail the extra time.
  • In case of any disability, which prevents a candidate from writing the exam himself (blindness, locomotor disability (both arm affected-BA) and cerebral palsy), then the scribe should preferably be a class 10th or 12th student (not from humanities with political Science/Legal Studies) and such scribe shall be required to carry school identity card, age and address proof viz Aadhar Card. No scribe shall be provided by the Examination Center. It should be ensured that the qualification of the scribe should be at least one step below of the qualification of the candidate taking the examination and should no way be connected with humanities subjects like Political Science/legal studies and should not be below matriculate.
  • The candidature to the examination is provisional. Only those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria should appear in the exam. If at any stage it is found that you are not eligible for the All India Bar Examination, your candidature will be rejected.
  • Candidates found cheating/resorting to unfair means by the invigilators shall ordinarily be debarred from taking the exam

Q:   Is there any dress code for AIBE exam?

A: 

No, Bar Council of India has not prescribed any dress code for this examination. However, candidates are expected to wear comfortable clothing on the day of the examination. Candidates are advised to read all the guidelines mentioned on the AIBE 2025 admit card carefully so that there is no hassles at last moment at exam centre. Candidates are advised to arrange important documents to be carried at the centre in advance. AIBE 2025 Exam wil be held in pen-paper based mode.
