Q:   How many chances are given to a candidate to clear the AIBE exam?

A:
There is no limit on number of attempts a candidate can make to clear All India Bar Examination. They can attempt the examination any number of times until they qualify it with a PASS remark in AIBE result. The Bar Council of India has earlier stated that candidates must ensure qualifying AIBE within two years of enrollment, however, it does not mean that they cannot appear for AIBE after that period or they only get two attempts. Rather, it means that if candidates are not able to qualify AIBE within two years of enrollment, then they will be required to re-enroll or get an extension for their provisional enrollment from their state bar council. Q:   When will AIBE result be announced?

A:

AIBE 19 Result 2024 is expected to be announced within a month of holding the AIBE 19 Exam. The results of AIBE exam are declared after clarifying all the objections received on the answer key. The results are published on the official website - allindiabarexamination.com. 

The AIBE is conducted twice a year, and the result is announced separately for each exam. Once the result is announced, candidates can check their result by logging in to their account on the official website of the BCI using their registration number and date of birth. The Certificate of Practice' is generally issued within 30 days after the AIBE result declaration. However, it is available only after two months at the state bar councils. AIBE 2024 Registration Date

The application window of AIBE 19 has been closed. The BCI had announced the AIBE 19 (XIX) Registration Dates 2024 along with AIBE 19 Notification. The BCI released all the important dates along with the AIBE 19 Notification 2024. Candidates could fill the AIBE 2024 Application Form until November 15, 2024 AIBE 19 Application Correction Window 2024 has been closed. Candidates could make changes in the application form until November 22, 2024

Candidates must note that they could apply online only, including payment of the application fee. The AIBE XIX (19) registration fee is INR 3,500 for the General/OBC category and INR 2,500 for SC/ST category. While filling out the AIBE registration and application form, candidates should keep a note of the following points:

  • Candidates should meet the prescribed AIBE eligibility criteria
  • All documents to be uploaded should be self-attested by candidates
  • BCI will reject any document without self-attestation
  • Candidates do not need to send any document by post to BCI
  • It is important that candidates keep a printout of the duly-filled and submitted application form with themselves for reference
  • BCI does not provide online application correction window. In case of any discrepancy in the information entered in the application form, candidates have to e-mail it to BCI to get it rectified.

AIBE 19 Answer Key 2024

The BCI will release the AIBE 19 Answer Key 2024 PDF shortly after the exam concludes. Initially, the provisional AIBE 19 Answer Key PDF download link will be made available on the official website. This will allow candidates to raise objections or report discrepancies for any of the questions from the exam. The exam authority will review the feedback provided and, if the objections are validated, will issue a revised answer key. The AIBE 19 Final Answer Key 2024 will serve as the basis for the AIBE 19 Result 2024. Once the final answer key is published, the council will release the AIBE 19 Result.

Q:   When AIBE XIX (19) Answer Key will be released?

A:

The Bar Council of India releases the AIBE Answer Key in two phases. Firstly, it will  release the AIBE 19 Provisional Answer Key 2024. Candidates who appeared for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) can download AIBE 19 (XIX) Provisional Answer Key 2024.

The provisional answer key of AIBE will aary the answers of the question paper released by Bar Council of India (BCI). Candidates can then raise objections if any on AIBE Provisional Answer Key on or before the last date. After receiving objections, the council will then release the final answer key. AIBE 19 Result 2024

 AIBE exam monitoring committee declares the AIBE results after verification of answer key-related claims made by candidates. The results of AIBE examination will be published on the official website only. Candidates can check their AIBE results by logging in to their registered accounts using their roll number and date of birth. All candidates belonging to General/ OBC category have to secure a minimum of 40 per cent to qualify the exam. Those belonging to SC/ ST/PWD category have to secure at least 35% to qualify the bar examination. AIBE 18 Result Date 2024 has not been announced yet.

The number of attempts for the All India Bar Examination is unlimited. Students can appear for the All India Bar Examination exam consecutively till they qualify it. Q:   Is there a negative marking for the wrong attempts in AIBE 2024?

No, there is no negative marking done in case of wrong attempts in the exam. The Bar Council of India has confirmed that their will be no negative marking in AIBE 19 exam too. However, candidates will have to wait for the official notification for same. Until now, the exam authority did not deduct marks of candidates who could not attempt question paper correctly. However, they also did not get any marks to attempt those questions. This means, the total scores of candidates were a total of all the correct answers out of total scores.

AIBE 18 COP

Few months after the declaration of result, BCI issues the AIBE Certificate of Practice (CoP) to all the candidates who qualify the All India Bar Examination. However, the CoP for AIBE 17 was released on December 7. Candidates can collect the CoPs from their respective State Bar Councils and then start practicing the legal profession.

Q:   Can I Practice without clearing AIBE?

According to the rules set by the Bar Council of India (BCI), you will only be able to practice law in India if you clear the All India Bar Examination. Without clearing AIBE you can practice for only 2 years. This exam is conducted once a year nationally by BCI. 1. You will have to appear in the AIBE exam after passing your law degree course. 2. After getting enrolled as advocates with your respective state bar councils, you can apply for this exam. 3. The exam is expected to take place in December this year. 4. Q:   I enrolled for AIBE XVIII (18) Exam but did not appear for it. Can I appear for AIBE XIX (19) Exam without paying registration fee?

No, you cannot appear for AIBE XIX(19) without paying the registration fee. For AIBE 18, the Bar Council of India had announced that candidates who appeared at Rajkot centers for AIBE-XVII will be allowed to participate in the next AIBE-XVIII without having to pay the examination fee again.
