TS LAWCET Important Dates 2025 - The dates for the TS LAWCET 2025 exam will be announced with the released of the TS LAWCET/PGLCET Notification 2025. The notification tentatively be released in February 2025, at lawcet.tsche.ac.in.

The TS LAWCET 2025 registration are expected to be started in the first week of March 2025 on the official TGCHE LAWCET website - lawcet.tsche.ac.in. Through TS LAWCET 2025, the participating colleges will offer admission to five-year LLB course and three-year LLB course.

Note: For admission to the LLM programme at colleges recognised by TSCHE, TS PGLCET is conducted. The dates for TS LAWCET 2025 and TS PGLCET 2025 will be the same. 

Q:   What is the timing of TS LAWCET 2025 exam?

A:

Candidates can find the exam date and time for TS LAWCET 2025 on their TS LAWCET 2025 admit card. Every year, the TS LAWCET exam is conducted in three sessions. Thus, TS LAWCET 2025 will also be conducted in three sessions on the exam date decided by the Telangna State Higher Education Council (TSCHE).

Q:   When will the TS LAWCET 2025 answer key be released?

A:

The TS LAWCET 2025 answer key will be released in two stages:

  • Provisional answer key: The provisional answer key will tentatively be released in the first week of June 2025.
  • Final answer key: The date for the final answer key release hasn't been announced yet. It will be released after considering objections raised against the provisional answer key.

The answer key for the TS LAWCET 2025 exam can be downlaoded on the official LAWCET website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, lawcet.tsche.ac.in, once it is available for download.

The TS LAWCET 2024 registration will tentatively start in March 2025, on the official TS LAWCET 2025 portal, lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The registration for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB through TS PGLCET 2025 will also start on the same date. The registration cum application form for TS LAWCET 2025 will only be made available online. Candidates need to note that the TS LAWCET 2025 exam date for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses will be notified here after the release of the TS LAWCET 2025 notification. The exam will be conducted online at test centres allotted to candidates.

Q:   When will the TS LAWCET 2025 application correction window be opened?

A:

The TS LAWCET application correction window 2025 will tentatively open in the fourth week of May 2025, at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The application window will remain open for around a week during which candidates can make correction in the details which they mistakenly fill wrong. These details will be the following:

Q:   When will the TS LAWCET 2025 admit card be released?

A:

TS LAWCET admit card 2025 will tentatively be released in the fourth week of May 2025, on the website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE): lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The admit card will be released in online mode only as an TS LAWCET hall ticket. Candidates will have to download the admit card before the TS LAWCET 2025 exam and take its multiple printouts.

They need to affix their coloured passport-size photograph to their TS LAWCET hall ticket or admit card. Then, they need to carry the hall ticket to the TS LAWCET exam centre. Without the hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to appear in TS LAWCET 2025. Moreover, they cannot show their admission card on their phone. A physical copy or printout of the hall ticket is mandatory for taking the exam.

Q:   What is the last date to fill out the TS LAWCET 2025 registration?

A:

The last date for the TS LAWCET 2025 registration for the 5-year LLB course and the 3-year LLB course will be the same. The last date to fill out the TS LAWCET 2025 registration form without a late fee has not been announced yet. It is expected that the TS LAWCET 2025 registration for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses will remain open by the second week of April 2025, Candidates will be able to fill out the registration form at lawcet.tsche.ac.in.

Once the TS LAWCET 2025 registration process with a late fee is over, candidates were provided with four more chances to register with late fees of INR 500, INR 1000, INR 2000 and INR 4000, respectively. The application deadlines for late fees have not been announced yet for TS LAWCET 2025. Candidates can refer to the following tables to check the last date for TS LAWCET 2025 registration with and without late fees:

During TS LAWCET counseling, you will typically be required to present a set of essential documents for verification and seat allocation. While the specific requirements may vary slightly from year to year, here are the commonly requested documents:

1. TS LAWCET Rank Card and Admit Card: These documents serve as proof of your eligibility to participate in counseling.

Q:   Who is eligible for TS LAWCET counselling?

A:

To be eligible for TS LAWCET counselling, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum percentage of marks in TS LAWCET:

  • General category: 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks)
  • OBC category: 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks)
  • SC/ST category: There is no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category candidates. 

Thus, all SC / ST category candidates can partificate in TS LAWCET counselling. 

Educational qualification:

  • For 3-year LL.B. course: Any graduate degree with (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognised University or its equivalent.
  • For 5-year LL.B. course: Two year Intermediate Examination with (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent.

In addition to the above criteria, candidates must also be Indian nationals and domiciled in the state of Telangana.

The TS LAWCET LLM exam is called the TS PGLCET. The TS PGLCET eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Educational Qualification
  • Candidates must have obtained a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree or a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university.
  • Candidates who are appearing for their final year/semester of the LLB course can also apply for TS PGLCET. However, they need their final year marksheet at the time of TS PGLCET counselling.
Minimum Marks in qualifying exam
  • General & OBC: Minimum of 50% marks 
  • SC/ST/PwD: Minimum of 45% marks 
Age Limit
  • There is no age limit to apply for TS PGLCET.
