Mystory@Varishtha Kanojia: How I selected my course and made my career

1 min readUpdated on May 23, 2017 13:16 IST

When in High school, I realized that studying Maths and Science is not my cup of tea. After appearing for my 10th boards I decided to pursue with the subjects of my interest and commerce was the immediate choice. After completing intermediate in commerce, there were various opportunities for higher studies including BBA, BCA or B.Com.

I decided to choose B.Com for my under graduation because we were not in the state to afford any other expensive course. After completing B.Com, yet again I had a list of opportunities but I settled for MBA. This was because of a Government scholarship scheme that allowed me to pursue with an MBA programme from Future group of Institution, Bareilly.  After completing MBA in Marketing, I started looking for jobs in various firms. Finally, I secured a job as a Sales Executive with Procter & Gamble.
