Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has revised the exam pattern of NMAT 2020 exam. This year, the candidates will have to solve lesser number of questions than previous years.
The total number of question in NMAT question paper has been reduced from 120 to 108. The exam has three sections, Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. From this year onwards, each of these sections will have equal number of questions .i.e. In NMAT 2019, sectional weightage was uneven with Quantitative Skills section having maximum questions (48), followed by Logical Reasoning (40) and Language Skills (32).
Sectional time-limit for each section of NMAT 2020 has also been revised. In Language Section, the time limit has been increased from 22 minutes to 28 minutes, while in Quantitative Skills the time limit has been reduced from 60 to 52 minutes. In the Logical Reasoning section, the sectional time limit has been increased from 38 minutes to 40 minutes.

NMAT exam is conducted in a 75-day test window from October to December. The candidates get three attempts at the test during the examination window. The result cum scorecard is generated within 48 hours of taking the exam, so that the candidates can decide whether they want to go for re-test.
